Betty was seated on the chair by her desk, her head hanging over her pile of homework as she worked on her assignments.

She couldn't focus, the math equations didn't make sense, the Spanish words had no meaning and the article for the blue and gold had no ending.

While she lowered her head in her hands, she all of the sudden heard loud music coming from her next door neighbour.

With a long sigh the blonde looked out of the window and saw a dark haired male in his room, dancing to the song he was blasting over his boxes.

He swung his arms up in the air and his lips sang along to the lyrics.

It created a smile to lay on Betty's lips. God, he was cute.

The boy continued dancing, not even noticing Betty watching from her bedroom window. She laughed by every move he made, completely amazed by how handsomely adorable this guy was.

It took the male 5 minutes or so before he discovered Betty, his eyes immediately widening in utter disbelief. This didn't stop him though.

His lips curled into a smirk as he winked towards the blonde. A wink that said; dance with me.

He then started to dance once again, his eyes fixated on Betty.

Betty laughed loudly, watching as the boy danced, clearly wanting her to dance along. So, without further hesitation, Betty got up from her chair and danced along to his music which she could hear in her room.

She saw him smile brightly, completely losing himself in the song and her eyes.

Never in her life had Betty been this happy and careless. She felt free as she danced, with him.

After 10 minutes, the two both breathlessly stopped dancing, Betty falling back down on her chair by the window.

The boy fell down on his bed which was placed in front of his window as well.

Betty grabbed a cardboard from her room and quickly wrote something down.

You're crazy.

She turned it so the dark haired male could look at it. He read it and smirked widely, writing something down himself.

You know it baby.

Betty smiled and shook her head at his words. Just then the boy showed another piece of paper. This time he had written down his phone number.

The blonde laughed, grabbed her phone and added him to her contacts.

b - what's ur name?
j - jughead jones. yours?

Betty giggled at the name, looking up at Jughead who was giving her a playful glare.

b - I'm betty cooper
j - oehh betty, I like it.
b - when did you move in there?
j - just two days ago. wanted to remove the evil spirits from your former neighbour by some casual dancing.

Betty laughed and her eyes met Jughead's once more. He was grinning, blowing her an air kiss. She blew one right back.

b - you looked adorable.
j - well, you didn't look too bad yourself either.
b - you go to riverdale high?
j - yup, tomorrow's my first day.
b - walk me to school then?
j - anything for you, princess.

Betty saw Jughead looking up at her and sending her a wink, before they both closed their phones.

Betty hung her head over her books again, suddenly everything making sense. The equations had a solution, the words had a meaning, the article was finished.
