Lili laid under the silky sheets, barely clothed. She watched as her boyfriend peacefully slept next to her.

Last night had been a crazy night for the two of them. It started with talking, which discreetly turned into yelling and ended in making love to one other.

"Cole?" Lili called out as she entered his apartment. There came no response.

She walked through the empty space, hearing a few noises coming from the kitchen. She went there and found him making himself some food.

"Hey." She said, smiling halfheartedly. He looked at her and shot her a small smile before focusing back on his food. Lili frowned.

For the past couple of days he had been acting weird, ignoring her. She would try to talk to him about something, and she'd simply get a 'no', 'yes', or just a plain 'okay'.

"What is up with you lately?" She asked him, moving to stand closer to him. Her hands settled on his soft cheeks.

"Nothing."

"Clearly there's something wrong." Cole let out a strong breath as Lili spoke the words.

"Nothing is wrong, okay!? Just leave me alone." He snapped, removing her hands from his cheeks while continuing to prepare his food.

The frown on Lili's face grew wider. "Tell me, now." She demanded, her voice stern and hurt.

The fact that he didn't trust her enough to tell him what was wrong, hurt her.

"Leave me alone!" He yelled, pushing her away. It was rough enough for Lili to let out a yelp.

"Not before you tell me what the hell your problem is!"

"I don't have one!" Lili inched closer to him once again.

"You are so goddamn confusing Cole, and I don't know how long I can put up with it anymore!" She yelled, taking a hand through her own hair.

The words stabbed a knife into Cole's heart. Lili hadn't mean them, but she was upset and too caught up in the fact that he didn't trust her, so the words simply came out.

The angry couple stood opposite of each other, glaring at the other person.

"Well then don't!" He shouted back, the pain evident in his voice.

Lili was startled at those words and a few tears left her eyes. "We both wanted this, remember? a healthy relationship, keeping a low profile, taking care of each other, being all cute and cuddly together. Now you suddenly don't care about me anymore and it's eating me up inside!"

Cole closed his eyes and let out a breath. "I still care about you!" He blurted.

"Then why the fúck are you avoiding me!?" Cole stayed quiet for a while.

"Because.. because I think I'm falling in love with you, okay? And it's scaring the shit out of me. That's why I'm avoiding you." Lili fell in utter silence after his confession.

"You... you love me?" She asked, her eyes wide in disbelief. Cole nodded, looking down at the floor. His hands were clenched into fists, his breathing was shallow.

Lili stepped closer to him until their lips were ghosting each other. Cole didn't bother to move.

"I love you too." She mumbled before crashing their lips together in a searing kiss. His hands held her waist while hers twisted around the back of his neck.

Their lips pulled apart for a second, the two of them taking a breather.

"God I love you." He whispered, devouring her lips once again. A strangled moan left Lili's lips as Cole threw her on the bed in his bedroom.

It had been the most mind-blowing sex Lili had ever experienced. Their love making continued for probably half the night, until they both fell breathlessly beside each other, thoroughly satisfied.

Now she stared at him, sleeping beside her. His hair was messy, a few curls falling over his eyes as they moved when he exhaled.

"You're pretty cute when you stare." His hoarse voice suddenly sounded, followed by an amusing chuckle.

"You asshole!" She exclaimed playfully, "You were awake the entire time!" He just nodded and opened his eyes, looking straight into hers.

"You're beautiful." He mumbled, his lips pulling her in a kiss that left them both trembling for more. His hand found its way in her hair, tangling itself through her blonde strands.

Lili blushed warmly, her cheeks flushing bright red. Cole chuckled at her reaction and pressed another firm kiss on her mouth. "My shy girl." He murmured, his smirk evident. "You weren't that shy yesterday, were you?"

The blush on Lili's face only increased more as she smacked his chest. "Don't get all cocky now." She teased, her fingers trailing circles over his abdomen beneath the sheets.

"I love you." He murmured, wrapping his arms around the blonde in an embrace.

"I love you." Her voice was filled with happiness and love. She smiled and leaned in to kiss him once more, before hopping out of the bed.

He smiled, his eyes lingering on her bare body a little too long. "You're staring." She smirked, her hands on her hips. He laughed and tore his eyes away from her, rolling his head down into the pillow.

She giggled and hurried into the bathroom, taking a quick shower. Once she got out, Cole was still lying in his bed, his phone in his hands.

Lily smiled and tiptoed over to him, pressing a soft kiss on his lips. "Your turn." She mumbled, grabbing his hand in a swift movement and lifting him up from the bed.

Cole chuckled and pressed a feather light kiss on her lips before hurrying into the bathroom.

He smiled as he showered and dressed himself, memories of the previous night replaying in his head. She loved him.

He got out and watched as Lili was deciding on which outfit to wear. Her eyes were focused on the clothes.

Slowly he snuck up behind her and wrapped his arm around her waist. She jumped up from shock, her hands shoving his arms away as she turned around.

"You scared me, you ass." She smacked his chest. Cole laughed, pushing his lips against hers. She immediately reacted, her lips moving lovingly over his.

"I really missed you. You not talking to me was something I don't want to go through again, I thought you were cheating on me." Lili admitted, her hands circling around his neck.

He gave her a soft smile. "I would never cheat on you."

"Hurry now! We have to be at set in 10!" The blonde exclaimed, pushing Cole into the close.

She smiled, her hand on her heart. God she loved him.
