"You like him, just admit it." Jughead heard Kevin say. A feeling of jealousy boiled inside of him.

He didn't want to feel like this, but he couldn't help it.

Betty looked at Kevin with a guilty look pressed on her lips. "He looks at me like a little sister, it's no use." She explained shortly.

Jughead was head over heels in love with Betty. Her beautiful indecisive eyes, her soft pink lips, her blonde hair, everything.

Jughead was someone, different. Someone alone, someone weird.

Betty and him were friends, just fiends. Because you see, Betty liked Archie.

The red haired, most handsome guy of Riverdale High. Jughead had no chance against him.

Archie was Jugheads best friend, but even he didn't know how much Jughead loved Betty. Nobody did.

"You two are definetely endgame Betts." Kevin stated, throwing a smile to his best friend.

Jughead just fake-smiled and nodded towards Betty who was sitting next to him.

Betty always relied a lot on Jugheads advices, because he was one of her best friends. Jughead knew that, and that's why he always pretended to be happy for her.

He just wanted her to be happy.

"You think?" Betty asked, turning to her beanie-wearing best friend.

"You should go for it." Jughead adviced, swallowing the block that hitched his throat in a clump.

"But when? Should I just walk up to him?" She questioned full in panic. Jughead glanced over Kevin who smiled happily to Betty.

"Just go talk to him after his football practice, tell him how you feel." Kevin proposed as the black haired boy unwillingly agreed.

"Yeah Betts, go be happy." Jughead supported her before he stood up and left the picnic table.

Betty decided to get over herself and just do it. Just listen to Jug and Kevin and tell Archie.

That's how she waited ten more minutes, talking to Kevin, until Archie's football practice was done.

"There he is." Kevin pointed to the field where all of the guys where just walking in the direction of their dressing room. "Go, now." Kevin happily supported Betty and pushed her upon the field.

She took a deep breath before walking over to Archie. "Hey Arch!" She exclaimed while calmly walking up to him. He turned around and smiled.

"Betty! Hi!" He greeted her kindly. "What's up?"

"Ehm.. I just... wanted to t-talk to you about... something." She stumbled over every letter and word. The red head gave her a confused smile.

"Tell me Betts, what's up?" He said a bit concerning. Betty inhaled sharply before starting to admit everything.

"Now you are on the football team, and I'm a River Vixen, I just have this fantasy of us.. as a power couple, or just a couple." She smiled nervously while she spoke the words. The beating of her heart quickened by every word.

For what Betty and Archie didn't know was Jughead spying on them silently. Even though this tore his heart into pieces, he wanted to see it.

"Betty... what?" Archie's face was filled with confusion and disbelief.

"Is that so hard to imagine?" Betty questioned, getting kinda upset.

"Betty you're amazing, too amazing for me. I love you B, but I can't give you the answer you want." Archie stated clearly. The tears in Betty's eyes were heavy and wrecking for Jughead to watch.
