Lucy encountered Satan on his way. "Huh? Lucy, where are you goin'?" Lucy looked at him. "...out.", "O...kay? Is something wrong?", "No. I'm fine, don't worry." He shook his head. "Just goin' out to Aphadrim, stargazing.", "Shall I accompany you?", "No, you should rest. We write a test tomorrow. You should at least sleep a little bit. Hopefully enough." Satan sighed. "No, you know I am always tired, no matter how long I sleep.", "Ever tried out coffee?" Lucifer asked. "Yes, and I doubt it would help anyway. And by the way, it tastes disgusing." Lucifer tilted his head. "Wait... You've tried it before?", "Sure did." Satan folded his arms. "Still had the taste in my mouth for half an hour. And it made me more tired instead of wide awake.", "...when the heck did you do that?", "I don't know. A while ago.", "... You're surprising me, Satan. What about coke?", "May be the better option, but as I said, I doubt it will help." Lucifer rolled with his eyes. "Then, I have a suggestion. Sleep and we'll see what tomorrow holds. So. Go to bed." Satan sighed. "Yes, Mom." He went past Lucy and disappeared into his room. Lucifer looked after him before he went down the stairs and left the Ulca Mahalma. Rauco was quiet. Seemed like they all where in their houses or maybe even asleep already. Lucifer took out his phone and looked at the clock. It was some minutes past ten pm. He put it away again and opened a gate to Aphadrim, went through it and found himself on Narcissia Avenue. He internally cursed because he had sworn himself to stay away from this place. Though... it was really tempting to walk past all these trashy shops and look what kind of junk they sold. He dug his hands in the pockets of his coat and started walking, the starry night sky above. During the day, this street was usually very crowded and you had to be careful to not drown in the masses. But at night, the street seemed deserted and quiet. The only thing audible was the sound of Lucy's steps. He walked over the sidewalk and threw short looks through the shop windows. Pale streetlamps lit up the road. Lucifer tried to simply look through his mirror image so he wouldn't get any hallucinations again. Dreaming badly this night was enough. Suddenly, he stopped when he passed by an antiques shop. In front of the window was a big shelf with all sorts of weird stuff Lucy had never seen before. He didn't even know what some kinds of these things were, that strange they looked. But what caught his attention was a statue of approximately twenty centimeters which was standing on eye level. It was made of... bronze, maybe, Lucy couldn't quite identify that. But what really disturbed him was the statue itself. It showed a humanoid creature, having similarities with an ogre. Its face looked like it was wearing one of those ugly halloween monster masks. Its hair was curly and piled up like it was fucking electrified. That creature had horns so Lucifer assumed it was depicting a demon. It had dragon wings and wore no clothing, what meant that thing was revealing its bare, muscular chest. Further down, the demon had hairy horse-like legs and hoofs. Between its legs, Lucifer could see a bride mouth with sharp teeth and a long tongue that was sticking out. In addition, that demon had a long tail with a pointed thorn at its end and held a trident in its hand. Lucifer didn't even need to look at the sign underneath that thing to know what demon that was but he still read it: 'Lucifer statue made of bronze'. Lucifer stared at that thing for some moments and then lowered his head. A shadow fell over his face. "That's not... what I am..." he said quietly and his voice was trembling. Anger waved through his body. "That's not me... That's not anywhere NEAR it. What do you humans dare to think?!" He clenched his hand to a fist and at the next moment, it crashed into the window. It shattered with a loud rattle sound and some glass shards cut into Lucifer's skin, but he didn't pay any attention to it. Blood dropped to the ground. Lucifer grabbed the statue and looked at it with rising disgust in his face. "...is this how they imagine me? They have absolutely no fucking idea." Normally, he didn't tend to use such ugly language, but this time, he made an exception. His hand around the statue tightened so strong the metal was actually pressed together. Lucifer clenched his teeth and a deep, angry growl rolled out of his throat. Then, he ripped off the head of the statue and brutally threw it onto the ground. He stepped onto it and crushed it underneath his boot. Then, he crushed the rest of the statue and smashed it against the wall of another shop. His eyes where brightly glowing from the anger that seethed through his veins. He turned around and went away, waving with his hand. He reversed time and made the window whole again before he disappeared into the darkness.
At the next morning on Thursday, Satan was hidden underneath his blanket when he heard a quiet creak sound. Someone opened his door. He didn't even need to see anything to know that it was his brother. He pretended to still be asleep. "Satan." he heard Lucifer saying. "C'mon, I know you're awake. Get up." Satan knew it had absolutely no use so he responded with a voice sounding like a rusty chainsaw, what actually was the case every morning: "Just because I'm awake, doesn't mean I am ready to do things!" Lucifer said nothing. Instead, he was glaring holes into the blanket. Satan didn't hear his brother moving. After thirty seconds, he carefully asked: "You still there, Lucy?", "Yeah. Get the hell up or I'll pull you out myself." Lucy grabbed the blanket and ripped it away from Satan. Satan squeaked like a scared guinea pig and sat up straight right away. "Hey!!!" Lucifer held the blanket in his hands and put the other hand on his hip. "Are you ready to rise up from your holy rectangular refuge and honor the world with your presence?" Satan hissed. "No, I'm not!", "Tough cookies! Move your buttocks out of your bed.", "Cookies? Where?" Satan looked around. Lucy threw the blanket into Satan's face. "Maybe, I'll give you some for breakfast." Satan pulled the blanket from his head and his hair was dishevelled. "Mh, 'kay. Promise?", "I said 'maybe'. Depends on how long you need to get into a vertical position." Satan pouted and got up. "Okay, I'm up.", "Good boy." Lucifer tousled his hair even more and Satan shrieked. "Hey, stop it!" He pushed Lucifer's hand away. "You're terrible!", "That's a talent of mine." Satan pushed his lower lip forward when he noticed that Lucy's right hand was wrapped into a bandage. "What did you do?", "Hm?" Lucifer looked on his hand. "Oh that. Nothing. Get moved, I'll be waiting for you." With these words, Lucifer left Satan's room and Satan knew that he was lying. He did something yesterday and got himself injured. But he decided not to ask because he knew Lucifer wouldn't tell him anyway.
