KHAIRI'S POV

"what happened to her?" I asked Ruky

We came out of our exams hall, I and Maryam, when we saw Hanifa walked out of theirs,we called her but she ignored us and walked away, now,we're asking Ruky

"I have no idea, I tried talking to her but she kept ignoring me" Ruky replied worried

"There has to be a reason" Maryam said

"Why don't we just go to her house, she'll not ignore us there" I suggested

"Good idea, so,should we go now?" Ruky asked

"I can't, Ayaan's picking me up, how about on tomorrow?"

"No, Ruky and I would go and we'll tell you whatever happened" Maryam added

"Sounds like a plan" I smiled

They entered Maryam's car and left.I spotted Ayaan's car so I went to it

"Salaam baby" Ayaan said as I entered

"Wasalam hubby" I replied and he leaned in and kissed me deeply but slowly

"I missed you" he said pulling back

"I missed you too''i replied

" so, how was your exams? "He asked starting the car

" it was fine, Alhamdullilah " I replied and he nodded driving the car back home.

We entered the house and went to his room, or should I say 'our'room, I kept my bag on the bedside cabinet and felt two arms wrapped around my waist

"What's bothering you baby?" He asked bury his head in the crook of my neck

"Just worried" I replied

"About what" he asked kissing my neck

"My friend Ruky" I replied

"What happened to her"

"She's been acting strangely"

"Don't worry, whatever it is, I'm sure she'll tell you soon" he added turning me to look at him

"I sure hope so" I said making him smile. He engulfed me in a warm embrace and we just stood there relishing the moment till my phone rang making him groan in annoyance

"Leave it" he said

"But what if it's important?" I asked

"Fine" he groaned again walking to the bathroom "I'll just take a shower, you can join me if you want" he winked at me

"No thank you" I replied

"OK, your loss" he added before entering the bathroom

I rolled my eyes then picked up the phone to see an unknown number

"Salaam princess"

"Ya Hamid?"

"Yeah,how are you?"

"Fine, I missed you so much"

"I missed you too princess, hope Ayaan's treating you nicely"

"Yeah he is, did you change your phone number, cuz I don't have this one"

"Yeah,some business company's been disturbing me on my old line so I bought a new one"

"But you do know they could get this number too right?"

"Yeahhhh I know"

"So how's Ameer and Ameera?"

"They're both fine"
"Khairi, I wanna tell you something" he added nervously

"What is it?" I asked eagerly

"I like a girl"

"OMG, this is amazing, who is she?" I squealed

"It's... It's.."

"Who is it Ya Hamid, I wanna know who my sister in-law to be is"

"It's your friend Maryam"

"OMG!!!,that idiot didn't tell me about this"

"Well, she was shy"

"Shy my foot"

"Allah shirye ki, so as I was saying Dad and Uncles are gonna go ask for her hand in marriage for me this Saturday"

"Lalle Maryam amma batada mutunci,ace zata aure yayana ko tafadamin ko?"

"Keh calm down, I just told you didn't I?"

"Yeah you did"

"So, I'll talk to you later, bye princess, take care"

"Bye ya Hamid"

I turned off the phone and hissed
I am so gonna kill maryam for not telling me

Ayaan came out and I stared at him,his 6 pack, water dripping from his hair,his perfect jawline, straight pointed nose,his light skin,dark and full big eyes

"Done ogling baby?" He asked and I rolled my eyes

"You wish'' and he laughed

" why are you so moody?"he asked

"Can you believe Ya Hamid is in love with Maryam and she didn't tell me"

"Then how did you know"

"Because Ya Hamid just told me, I'm so gonna kill her tomorrow"

"No please don't, I don't wanna pick up my wife from jail" he teased

"Whatever" I said walking out, I went downstairs and prepared dinner, after then went to my room and prayed,after then went to our room and called him for dinner, we ate in silence, I ignored him, I'm so angry at him, I'm already angry and he kept annoying me, jerk, after which washed the plates and went to my room to study.

When I was done, I wore my PJs and went to our room, Ayaan was nowhere to be seen, good.
Then suddenly two arms wrapped around my waist and I was startled but relaxed

"I'm sorry wifey na" he said and I rolled my eyes

"Please forgive me baby,pretty please" he begged again, I turned to speak to him but he shut me up by placing his lips on mine, kissing me slowly, deeply, and passionately, his arms still on my waist, after some minutes he pulled back

"I'm sorry" he said and I kissed him again

"You're forgiven" I replied and he smiled.
