Chapter 25🌿-Memories

KHAIRI'S POV

The moment I step foot in the house,the memories came rushing back. Me coming out to the sound of the knock on the door,me walking in the dark, me stepping foot on the step,me lying on the floor,me seeing my hand covered in blood,loosing my baby,me having a panic attack,me watching someone walk out before I blacked out and I couldn't help but to clutch Ayaan's hand tightly as my eyes filled with tears.

Ayaan looked at me with a worried expression and held me tight,he embraced me in a warm hug as i cried on his shoulder

"A..A..ayaan..my..baby...I..can't" I said in between my sobs

"Shh baby,calm down Ok" he cooed rubbing soothing circles on my back

"I'm sorry Ayaan" I whispered unable to control my tears

"Why baby?" He asked lifting my face to look into my eyes,wiping the tears on my face with his thumb

"Our baby" I replied and he cupped my face with both his hands

"It's Qadr Ok?,we'll have many children in the future insha Allah, so never,I repeat, never,blame yourself ever again Ok baby?" He asked and I nodded while he smiled kissing my forehead letting his lips linger there for a while with me relishing every single minute of it. After that he held my hands and we walked to our downstairs room where we'll be staying for the while.

After settling in the room,Ayaan went out for a while and I walked to the kitchen. I stopped by the door when I heard someone's voice

"Yes Madam...she's back..she's looking healthy as usual....I'll make sure she eats it....no I won't... Ok....I'll be there''

I walked in curiously to see Louritta on the phone

" What are you doing here" I asked standing behind her and she jumped startled because she didn't see me

"Nothing Khairi" she replied blinking her eyes

"Really,it didn't seem like nothing to me" I added walking closer to her

"Khairi what are you insinuating?" She asked keeping her phone aside

"Why don't you tell me?" I asked looking directly into her eyes while she stared back at me

"What's going on here?" A deep masculine voice i know very well interfered from behind

"I was just asking why she's here since I no longer need her" I replied looking at Ayaan and he looked at me confusingly

"I asked her to come,figured you might need help around the house for a while" he replied

"I don't need her" I seethed and he glared at me,anger and confusion visible in his eyes

"Louritta can you give us some privacy please?" He asked still staring at me not even sparing her a glance

"Sure" with that she walked away and Ayaan walked to me

"What's wrong with you, why are you like this?" He asked trying to be calm unlike me who is already loosing my temper

"I just don't trust her,hell I don't trust anyone" I yelled

"Khairi,keep your voice down" he said through gritted teeth

"No I won't I can-" I was cut off by Ayaan placing his lips on mine in a mesmerizing kiss making my knees weaken but thank God Ayaan wrapped his arms around my waist keeping me in place. After what seem like a whole hour,Ok maybe five minutes,when Ayaan made sure I wouldn't create any drama or throw tantrums he let me go leaving me breathless

"Now again,why are you like this?" He asked calmly

"I don't know" I replied honestly

"Ok,can you try not to loose your temper without any reason and hurt peoples feelings?" He asked again and I nodded

"Ayaan,I didn't mean to,I really don't know why I did it,I'll apologize to Louritta" I replied blinking back my tears and his eyes soften

"Don't cry Ok baby,come here" he embraced me in a warm hug.

I really don't know why but I don't trust Louritta anymore,I'm sure there's something behind that call of hers but I really couldn't connect the dots to how they are connected. Suhailat, Ruma,Zahra and now Louritta, I just have a feeling that there's something connecting them together,I just know it,because I don't believe that I slipped and fell down the stairs,I knew someone pushed me and I just need to figure out who?

Louritta's voice brought me outta my trance and Ayaan's embrace

"I'm sorry Ayaan, but you have guests" she said

"Who,we weren't expecting anyone" he asked confused,his arms still around my waist.

Our question were answered when the most annoying voice boomed through the Kitchen

"Ya Ayaaaaaaaaaan!!" She yelled happily walking in like she owned the place

Speaking of the devils,and they're standing in front of me smirking with a mischievous glint in their eyes
