"Sandwich?"

"Sandwich."

I pushed my empty plate towards Vivian, who flipped a second serving onto it. I pulled it back and devoured my lunch.

"If there was only one food that I could have for the rest of my life," I munched, "It would be sandwiches."

"You have them literally every day," Vivian rolled her eyes, "How do you not get sick of them."

I stopped biting my sandwich and ran my fingers over the smooth bread, "She doesn't know what she's talking about, baby, don't listen to her, you know I love you."

Vivian scowled and moved towards the sink, putting her plate into it. I finished the rest of my sandwich and did the same.

"Oh, Aaliyah," Vivian said awkwardly, "I, uh... Fraser and I... we..."

"Going on a date?" I smirked, "Go for it, I was going to head to the headquarters today to finish off some work anyway."

Vivian smiled warmly, "Thank you."

"Get your ass ready," I said, waving her off, "I want to be picking his jaw off the floor when he sees you."

Vivian snorted and jogged upstairs, leaving me to wash the dishes.

...

"ID, please," The receptionist said in her monotone voice. This was getting repetitive and annoying, but she was doing her job. She reminded me of the receptionist in Monsters Inc. Always watching Wasowski, alllllways watching.

I handed her my ID and walked through to the elevator, pressing the button to go to the eleventh floor. I hadn't been to my office in so long, I couldn't wait to get back to work.

The elevator zipped past the floors in an unbelievably short amount of time and before I could blink I was on my desired floor.

I walked out of the elevator and through the arrays of desks holding computers displaying things that I could never understand and walked through a door that led to the area where I was located, the place where all the Rank 9 people going into Rank 10 were located.

I walked through and nostalgia instantly struck me as I recalled the lovely memories that were created inside this area. I walked to my locker and opened it, smiling at the satisfying mess that remained inside. I continued down the corridor and into the main room, where I spent the majority of my time.

"Aaliyah, dear!" A familiar voice called.

I turned around to find Mrs Yelland grinning at me. Mrs Yelland was to be a Rank 9 graduating to Rank 10 many years ago, but she fell pregnant with her first child, Samuel, resulting in her having to resign. Three children and two grandchildren later, she was happily working as a service lady at the headquarters.

"Mrs Yelland!" I exclaimed, walking into her open arms, "It's so good to see you again!"

"It's so good to have you back," She said, patting me on the back, "So, tell me, did you find me any hot guys?"

"Mrs Yelland, you're married," I said sternly.

"I know, I know," She nodded, "But my husband used to be hot, now he looked like a raisin, I need grapes, not raisins. And stop calling me Mrs Yelland, you don't need to remind me that I'm married, call me Grace."

"Alright, Grace," I laughed, "I'll try to find you some grapes, soon."

"You better," She laughed heartedly, "Now excuse me, I need to go refill the coffee machine in the meeting room, spoiler, I'll be gawking at the hotties in the suits."
