"And yeah I let you use me from the day that we first met!" Raven yelled at the top of her lungs, "But I'm not done yet, falling for you. Foooooooooooooool's goooold!"

I laughed beside her, out of breath from our excessive amount of singing.

"We're... going... to... lose our... voices... tomorrow!" She grinned manically, hiccupping between every word or two.

"Dance with meeee!" She tugged at my arm, as she prepared to climb on top of the table, "Look at meee!"

I chuckled at her dance moves. She was so good at this. I cheered her on as 'Bad Guy' by Billie Eilish played in the background. She swayed her hips to the base, his hands moving in random movements above her head. I told her that I was going back to the bar to get water, she probably didn't hear me as she continued singing at the top of her lungs.

I was going to drink tonight, but I forgot that I had to drive back home, so after one drink I decided not to have any more.

"A water please!" I called to the bartender, "Iced!"

Within seconds of me asking, the bartender pushed a glass filled with water towards me. I thanked him and walked back to the table that Raven was on, glass in hand.

I frowned when she wasn't there, she was there literally ten seconds ago. I took a few sips out of the water I'd gotten and set the cup on the table. The same table Raven was dancing on seconds ago. I pushed through the sweaty crowd of people, trying to find that girl that I'd brought with me tonight.

Her voice was what helped me find her. She wasn't that loud, but she wasn't quiet either, I could hear her voice singing the song that was currently playing. A creepy dude was swaying his hips behind her. She obviously was too drunk to notice anything around her, even with a strangers hands stabilising her hips to follow their rhythm. She pushed back against him, and he smiled evilly down at her. I could almost picture what he was planning to do with her.

I walked up, deciding that I didn't want this to go any further than it already had, and pulled Raven towards me by her arm. She stumbled and crashed into my chest, then proceeded to cling onto my arm, muttering something that sounded like, "So strong."

I glared back at the guy, who looked like he was about to snap at me for taking her away from him. I glowered back at him, and he instantly understood what I meant, scurrying away soon after.

"Good job on staying away from strangers," I pressed my mouth against Raven's ear.

"Thank you!" She said back, not taking a hint of my sarcasm.

I put my arm around her waist as she stumbled, and pulled her with me to the end of the room, towards the door. She followed along, asking where we were going every two seconds. I answered her question the first three times, then stopped, realising that she probably wasn't paying attention to what I was saying anyway.
