"So how was your first drinking experience?" Vivian smirked, resting her head on her folded hand.
I groaned and took another sip of the concoction she'd generously provided me, "It wasn't even on purpose, and why does my head hurt so much after one drink?"
Vivian snickered, "I love seeing you in pain, it's satisfying to my dark soul."
I glared at my best friend but winced as even frowning caused my head to pound, "Is this how I die?"
"Oh shut up, a few pain killers plus my mother's secret Asian potion to cure headaches, and you'll be well on your way."
I groaned again. Perhaps I was exaggerating, but this was my first experience with a hangover, and it hurt like hell, making me wonder whether that drink was even alcohol, or something worse.
"Who's hoodie is that?" Vivian pointed at what I was wearing this morning. I woke up with a headache, so I wasn't really in the mood to look great. A pair of shorts and a hoodie would do the job just fine.
"Aidan's?" I said, looking down at the black hoodie, "I think?"
"How cute!" Vivian cooed, "I wish Fraser would give me his clothes to wear!"
I could feel the blood rushing to my cheeks, just thinking about all the weird things I said last night, "Shut up, it's not what you think, and I literally had to beg him to give it to me. I'm so embarrassed."
"Aww, don't worry, just apologise when you give it back."
"Yeah-"
The sound of my phone ringing interrupted my sentence. I excused myself from the barstools we were sitting on and walked out of the kitchen with my phone in hand.
"Hello?"
"Brent?"
"How're you feeling?" He said, awkwardly, "I'm so sorry, I should've checked the drink before handing it to you."
"I'm okay," I grinned, "Just a killer headache, it's not your fault, you couldn't have known."
"We talked to Jackson about it, he said that he didn't know who was putting things into drinks, could've been anyone."
"That's a teenage party for you," I laughed.
"The guys felt really bad, that they left you with Aidan."
"He was alright, it was more me pissing him off," I shrugged.
Brent chuckled, "He didn't mind. Well, take care, call us if you need anything."
"I will," I smiled, "And tell the guys I said hi."
"Will do," Brent said, "Bye."
"Bye."
...
"Aaliiiiiyah!" Vivian's singing voice echoed in my room, "Wake up!"
I grunted and put my pillow on my head, trying to block out her voice. Unfortunately, this had no effect what-so-ever to her ego.
"Wake uppppppp!"
"What part of 'I have a hangover' do you not understand?" I sighed in exasperation.
"What part of 'wake up' do you not understand?"
"What do you want?" I sighed, pushing myself to sit up on the bed.
"Finally!" She grinned, "Fraser called."
"And?"
"He wants to talk to you."
