“Okay here is your room key,” David Smith said leading Mia and Cassidy to their hotel room, he smiled at the two women that he would spend the rest of the tournament working with; he was sort of grateful that he was going to have their help with all of the work that needed doing.

“Thanks,” Mia said smiling at David while her cousin hurried into the room that they were going to be sharing for the tournament.

Cassidy was quick to pick the bedroom closest to the bathroom making Mia roll her eyes as she stepped inside knowing that David still had things to tell them.

“There are four of us volunteering for Spain… you’ll met Freddie tomorrow at breakfast, you must wear the same colours as the team when they play so red or navy blue,” David said as Mia set down her navy holdall and looked around the room that she was sharing with her cousin knowing that she probably wasn’t going to be spending a lot of time in there since she was going to be running errands for the footballers.

“I’ll let you get settled… we have about seven hours before they arrive and have a bit of work to do before then,” David said making Mia nod as he smiled at her then left her to settled down while she could; he had a feeling that this was going to be interesting especially with everything that was going on now.

Mia watched him leave as she pocketed her key and closed the door behind him, she glanced at Cassidy’s room as she shook her head before she walked towards her own room so that she could unpack and sort through her stuff.

Stepping into her bedroom, Mia nibbled on her lip as she looked around the room; she was dressed in a black panelled lace top and black leggings in leather look paired with black quilted heeled ankle boots since she knew that she had to look the part

Mia sighed as she did a check of the hotel rooms that she had done since she had started her first shift, she had been settling up the rooms in preparation for the footballers arrival and leaving gift bags in each of the bedrooms for them.

“David, I’m done with my rooms,” Mia said to her group leader as she put her equipment down in the trolley, she was a little surprised how much work had needed to be done before the footballer’s arrived.

The Spanish national team were based in the North West University campus in Potchefstroom which meant that they would be staying with the team until they left the tournament or won.

David nodded his head continuing to work on the room that he was doing, he glanced at the brunette before running a hand through his hair; he was grateful for having Mia on his side since Cassidy had disappeared and Freddie was busy doing other things.

“Can you do the captain’s bedroom for me?” David said handing her the key that would open that room, Mia nodded her head as she moved to collect the objects that she would need.

“Do we get the spare bags?” Mia mused looking inside one of the gift bags making David chuckle as he looked at her, there was a lot of expensive items in the bags and Mia knew that just one of these bags would sort out her Christmas shopping for that year.

“I think so… we better get some perks for being their dogs bodies for the next few weeks,” David said making Mia laugh nodding her head, she knew that working for footballers wasn’t going to be easy but she hoped that there were some benefits to her job.

Iker yawned as the coach pulled up outside of the hotel where he was staying for the next few weeks, the flight had been tiring and he couldn’t wait until he was able to get some much needed sleep.

“Damn that was a long trip,” Xavi muttered looking at his best friend, who nodded his head as they all moved into the hotel; the group talked between themselves as a man appeared making Vicente smile as he moved to greet him.

The two talked for a moment before the man handed keys to Vicente, he moved back to stand next to two women and another man; it was clear that they were the volunteers for the trip.

“Okay… our rooms are ready thanks to our volunteers, so let’s get you all sorted so that we can all get some rest before training tomorrow,” Vicente said producing a list of room arrangements and started to read them out.

Iker grumbled softly knowing that he would be the last to be sorted since he was the captain and he had certain duties to attend to.

Iker ran a hand through his hair, he fought back a yawn as he watched his team-mates slowly move off so that they could head up to their rooms.

“Casillas and Hernandez… room 416,” Vicente called making Iker sighed relieved that he could finally go to his room, he moved forward to collect his key with Xavi before he picked up his case and headed for the elevator; he glanced around him as he wondered what would happen while he was in South Africa. “

God I can’t wait to get some sleep,” Fernando muttered stretching, he looked at Sergio who nodded his head as they trudged into the elevator as the doors opened for them.

“So have you heard from Sara?” Xavi asked the doors closed behind them and the elevator started going up to get to the floor where they were staying; Iker looked at his best friend before he shook his head annoyed slightly that he hadn’t heard for his girlfriend even if they were on a break.

“No,” Iker said as the elevator came to a stop and the doors opened so that they could all get out, he made sure that he had everything before he stepped out of the elevator and waved at the others as they all headed off to find their rooms.

Xavi looked at his friend concerned, Sara had been completely unfair to him since she had ended things on her own terms just so that she could work on her own career without a thought about Iker.

The two footballers found their room and were quick to unlock the door; Iker glanced around the small welcoming area and living room before he looked at the two bedrooms that where in the hotel room.

“Which one do you want?” Xavi asked stretching and looked at Iker, who shrugged not really caring since he just wanted to get some sleep before the first training session; he chuckled as Xavi huffed before his best friend choose the bedroom closest to the bathroom.

“Noche,” Iker called walking towards the room past the living room, he glanced back at Xavi who grumbled as he headed into his own room for the night.

Iker stepped into his room and looked around as he quietly closed his door behind him, he set down his bag before he moved to close the blinds so that he could get some sleep without having to worry about the sun light.

Running a hand through his hair tiredly, Iker pulled his shirt over his head before he slipped off the shoes so that he could prepare for bed.

Iker wondered for a moment if he should call Sara then dismissed the thought knowing that she wanted a break from their relationship and that maybe it was for the best.

Sara had made it clear that while they were in South Africa that nothing was going to happen; she wanted to focus on her career.
