Abigail squealed excitedly as her mother picked her up, she cuddled into her body while Mia walked out of the nursery and headed downstairs; she rested her head on Mia’s shoulder as they headed for the kitchen.
“Someone looks happy this morning,” Olivia said smiling at Mia, she was surprised how quickly things were progressing and she knew that it wouldn’t be long until Mia was getting married.
The twenty-six year old had enjoyed a peaceful birthday and things were slowly becoming more focused on the approaching holidays and the wedding.
“I have my dress fitting today,” Mia said smiling, she had picked out her wedding dress and she couldn’t wait for Iker to see her in it; she was so excited about her wedding that she no longer cared that most of her family weren’t going to be there.
Olivia smiled, she wasn’t surprised that Mia was so happy about that especially after it had taken her ages to find a dress that she liked; it was something important for her wedding.
Iker perked up and looked at his fiancée, he was so curious about what she would be wearing on their wedding day; he couldn’t wait to see her in her dress even if he still did have to wait six weeks until their wedding day.
It was worth the wait to see how beautiful Mia was going to look, Iker already had his suit sorted out and everything was coming together; they were working hard to ensure that everything was ready for their big day.
Olivia peeked at her mobile as she saw yet another call from Danny, she disconnected it still not ready to talk to anyone about her pregnancy; she hadn’t even told Mia yet and she was living with her.

Olivia sat Abigail on her knee, she cuddled the little girl while she waited for Mia to step out in her wedding dress; she was curious about what Mia had chosen to wear and she couldn’t wait to see the dress herself.
Mia had been shopping with Carmen to pick out her dress, she had become close to Iker’s mother and they had bonded recently; it was something that made Iker very happy.
Abigail babbled as she looked at grandmother, Carmen was with them waiting to see Mia in her dress; she was so excited at being involved in the wedding planning since she didn’t have any daughters.
Carmen knew that she would never be able to replace Mia’s mother, nor would she be able to make things better for Mia between her family but she was willing to accept the brunette that meant so much to her eldest son.
Carmen stopped and looked towards the dressing room as Mia stepped out dressed in the ivory mermaid short sleeves lace-up lace sweep wedding dress that she had chosen for her wedding day.
Olivia couldn’t stop herself from fussing over Mia, she looked beautiful and Iker would be in awe at how beautiful Mia looked in her dress.
“What do you think?” Mia asked giving a small twirl, she felt amazing in her dress and she couldn’t wait to wear it when she married Iker; she felt like a princess and she was excited about her impending marriage.
Abigail held up her hands wanting to be held by her mother, she frowned a little when Mia didn’t move to take her; she couldn’t while she was wearing the expensive ivory wedding dress.
“You look beautiful,” Olivia whispered, the dress suited Mia and she couldn’t believe that Mia had managed to find the dress; it had taken Rosie ages to find hers and it was nowhere as nice as what Mia was wearing right now.
Carmen moved to fuss over Mia talking about how they could style her hair for the ceremony, it wouldn’t be long now until the big day and everything was coming into place for the wedding.
Mia smiled, she couldn’t wait to marry Iker and she didn’t think that anything could take away from how she was feeling right now; she was happy and that was what mattered to her.
Olivia nibbled on her lip as she watched Mia with Carmen, she would be thirteen weeks pregnant when the wedding happened and she was nervous about what would happened.
Olivia didn’t wish to take any attention away from Mia and she hoped that she would have told someone by then that she was pregnant; she just didn’t know what to do right now.
Mia was so happy right now, it had been a long time since Olivia had seen her like this and she wasn’t going to ruin it; she would hide her secret for as long as she could.

Danny sighed as he put down his phone, there was still no news from Olivia and he was worried about her; he couldn’t believe that she had taken off without telling anyone where she was going.
The family was a mess right now and it had all begun when Rosie had returned from Madrid, she had told them what had happened with Iker and they had all been shocked that Mia had chosen Iker over her own sister.
Alice looked at Danny, she could see how much he was hurting and she wished that there was something that she could do to help; she hated that everything had fallen apart like it had and they were losing members of their family.
“I don’t know what to do,” Danny said shaking his head as he sat down at the kitchen table, he didn’t know how to fix all of this and he was tired of the family fighting.
Mia was refusing to speak to any of them and was going ahead in marrying Iker without her family around her after what he had done with her sister; then there was Olivia who had just disappeared.
“It’ll be okay,” Alice said trying to comfort her husband, she knew that Mia would come to her senses and she had a feeling that more had happened in Madrid than Rosie was telling them; but there was little to be done about it now.
Danny nodded his head, he ran his fingers through his hair wishing that there was some way to mend everything that had happened; he wanted things to go back to before Mia had ever met Iker.
“I just don’t understand why this is happening… we were all happy,” Danny said looking at his wife, he wanted nothing more than to give Mia away at her wedding but he refused to do it if she was going to marry Iker.
Rosie had been right about him since the start and Danny didn’t understand why Mia was still engaged to the footballer; he wasn’t good for her or Abigail.
Rosie listened quietly from where she was hidden, she swallowed knowing that her lies had caused all of this; she had hoped that they would make Mia see sense but all it had done was cost her, her sister and niece.
The family had been suffering and it was all her fault, Rosie hadn’t thought that it would drag on this far; she just wanted Mia to come home and she had thought that Mia would forgive her for kissing her fiancé.
Rosie took a deep breath, she nibbled on her lip and she was going to have to tell the truth; she had made a mess of things and Mia had every right to be mad at her.
Running a hand through her hair, Rosie slowly moved into the kitchen knowing that she had lied for long enough; she was hurting her family so much more than she had wanted to do.
Mia wasn’t going to come back to South Africa and Rosie had no one to blame but herself for what had happened.
