Mia smiled spotting her older sister, she was a little surprised when Iker had handed her tickets for the match against Chile but Iker had insisted since he knew that she missed her family.

“It’s great to see you again,” Rosie said hugging Mia, she pulled back knowing that there was something different about Mia and she had a feeling that her sister had finally found herself a man; she had long since given hope that Mia would ever date again.

Mia had been given the day off since now nearly everyone knew of her relationship with Iker and Mia had worked extra hard since the information had become common knowledge between the team.

“Hi dad,” Mia said moving to hug her father, she wrapped her arm around his neck and kissed his cheek; she had missed her family while she was working with the national team even she did distract herself with Iker.

“You look good… hanging around all these Spaniard’s must be doing something for you,” Rosie teased making Mia roll her eyes as she went to greet the rest of her family, she knew that her sister had picked up on something but she wasn’t ready to tell her family about her relationship with Iker.

Mia was wearing a navy cut out top and skinny jeans paired with black side zip ankle boots for the match; she might not be working but she was still a member of the Spanish national team and had to dress accordingly.

“I can’t believe you managed to get tickets for this… they’ve been sold out for months,” Olivia said in awe looking around the pitch as the players warmed up; Mia chuckled balancing her baby brother on her hip, she had missed spending time with him and was thrilled when Alice had handed him over.

“Perks of the job,” Mia said knowing that it was more than that and had everything to do with Iker; her boyfriend was determined to prove to her that he was serious about their relationship, even if after today he could be going home at any point.

Rosie watched her sister curious, she was desperate to know which man had caught her sister’s heart; she couldn’t remember the last time that she had seen her younger sister this happy or content.

“So how has work been? Has it give you any ideas for the future?” Danny asked looking at his daughter, he hoped that she had thought about what she would do after the tournament was over; Mia had only taken this position so that she could decide what she wanted to do next.

Mia glanced at her father and nodded her head, she knew that she had no intentions of leaving South Africa after this was over and while she had been busy with Iker; the brunette had made some decisions about her life.

The first would be to move out of the family home, Mia knew that it was about time since everyone else was moving on with their lives and it was time that she did as well.

“We’ll talk about it more later,” Mia said carefully knowing that she had to take consideration into the fact that she was dating Iker; he was a big part of her life at that moment even if he was going to be going back to Spain soon.

Mia rolled her eyes amused stepping into the tunnel after the match, she was relieved that Spain had won the match so that they would remain in South Africa for a while longer.

A couple of the footballers cooed as she walked past them with Robert, she hadn’t been able to set the little boy down since she had started to hold him and he seemed content to go everywhere with her.

“You played well,” Mia said carefully stopping in front of Iker, she watched as a smile ghosted his lips; she would congratulate him properly later on when they were alone since it wasn’t safe to do so where they were.

Iker glanced at the little blonde boy in her arms, he only knew so much about her family and he hated that he was still in the dark about most things in her life; the footballer chuckled as the little boy looked at him confused.

“This is my baby brother, Robert,” Mia explained making Iker smile as a sort of relief filled him, he had worried for a moment that she was going to say that he was her son.

“Robert this is Iker,” Mia said introducing the little boy to her boyfriend, she felt safe to do so since he was still too young to understand who the footballer really was to her; she had only popped down since she was meant to be going to dinner with her family.

Iker smiled as he carefully took the little boy’s hand and shook it, he could tell that Mia was only Robert’s half-sister since they didn’t look much alike and Mia had told him of the loss of her mother when she was a little girl.

“Hola Robert it is nice to meet you,” Iker said a little in awe that Mia had brought her baby brother to meet him; he was a little relieved that she hadn’t told her family yet until the two were certain about where their relationship was going.

Mia smiled as Robert buried his head into her neck, she knew he wasn’t big on meeting people and she had a feeling that meeting the footballer had been a little daunting for him.

“I’ll see you later tonight,” Mia said softly as she glanced over at Cassidy, she looked at Sergio relieved that he was distracting her so that she could talk to Iker; the footballers had been very welcoming of her relationship with Iker.

“So who is he then?” Rosie asked preparing to say goodbye to Mia so that they could all head home, Rosie knew that if she didn’t ask now then she didn’t know when she would see her sister again.

Mia nibbled on her lip, she had never had any secrets from Rosie and this was the first time that she hadn’t wanted to share everything with her older sister; she wanted to keep things quiet for a little while longer.

“Don’t deny it Mia… I can tell there is someone even if dad can’t, I just want to know if he makes you happy,” Rosie said stepping away from the main part of their family, she looked at her sister concerned that she had gotten involved with someone that she shouldn’t; she didn’t care if it was a footballer as long as he wasn’t married and didn’t hurt her sister.

Mia smiled at Rosie, she was glad that she had an older sister like her especially when things went wrong; she could always count on her.

“I’m happy and he’s not married,” Mia said making Rosie chuckle and nod her head, she glanced over at Cassidy who was whining about the fact that none of the footballer’s fancied her to Olivia; she frowned knowing that the blonde was nothing but trouble.

“Just be careful… the last thing I want is to see you hurt,” Rosie said hugging her sister, she closed her eyes knowing that Mia would tell her more when she was ready; the younger brunette wouldn’t hide something unless it was important.

Mia nodded her head as she looked over at Cassidy, she knew that she was going to be more careful with her relationship; they still had several games left and Iker was going to need to be on top form for each of them.

Mia didn’t know when she would get to tell everyone that she was dating Iker but for now they were content with keeping things secret from the rest of the world.
