"No." Sam said. "Put them down or you lose your medal."

Hades reluctantly set both of them down, chasing both of them to fall onto the floor, groaning in pain.

HJ and Gil hailed themselves up, brushing off the dust on their clothes, before looking at the group around them.

Sam looked a tad worried, but had her arms crossed in front of her, her foot tapping impatiently. Her bump was becoming a bit more noticeable. Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail, she'd stolen Harry's hat and wore it on her head.

Pain and Panic watched in confusion, not knowing who they were supposed to obey right now. Was it Sam who would revoke their master's medal if he did anything wrong or their master? It was too confusing for them to decide.

Helios looked at them briefly, but curiously, wondering why they had followed him, the fears could be seen turning in his head.

Hades on the other hand was trying to contain his temper, trying to prove to Sam he was in fact trying to work on it.

"How did you manage to beat me here?" Harry asked, as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

"I took a shortcut." Sam said with a shrug.

"What are we doing here anyway?" Harry asked, resting his chin on to of her head, snatching his hat off,

"Hey." Sam said, though she made no attempt in trying to get that hat back. "I don't know why am I here Hades?"

Hades shuffled his feet, not wanting to admit defeat.

"You weren't going to lose it on them were you?" Sam asked, waving her hand at HJ and Gil. "Why are we trying to attack each other may I ask?"

"They were eavesdropping on my conversation." Hades said. "Nobody does that with out getting punished."

"Well if you punished them you'd lapse your medal." Sam said. "And I'd have to give it to Captain Hook. Do you want me to do that?"

"No." Hades grumbled, trying not to lose his temper on Sam. Sparks were flying from his hair.

Sam was calm even though she was so close to the flames, ignoring them completely. Harry, Gil and HJ took a step back.

"Sam I really don't think this is a good idea." Helios said, turning to his father. "Dad calm down."

"Calm down?" Hades said. "You want me to clam down? You know what Sam? I don't care about a measly little medal when a more worthy trophy waits for me."

"Sam his pass him and you won't have to see him again." Helios said, trying and failing to pull his father back as he stepped closer to Sam.

Sam was still left unfazed, not batting an eye when he came within a few inches away from her.

"Dad calm down." Helios begged. "You're going to do something you'll regret."

"Something I'll regret?" Hades asked, tutting under his breath. "I have been tormented by you for too long young lady. I'm a god for hell's sake. I don't need your approval."

"Cool." Sam said, nonchalantly. "Never said you did."

"Sam do you not understand what backing down means?" Helios said, now trying to talk her out of this. "You're stressing yourself out over nothing."

"Who said I was stressing about anything?" Sam said. "Your dad is the one whose stressing. He gave this too much thought for him not to be."

"Sam I don't think you realize what you're doing." HJ said. "Just back away."

"I'm not backing away from anything." Sam said, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Sam. Please?" Gil said, tugging on her hand.

"Really Sassy." Harry said. "It's not that big a deal. We can go now."

"Yes Sam." Hades said, a menacing grin on his face. "Listen to your friends. Back away. Run away. Just like you will."

"What's he talking about?" Gil whispered to HJ.

"I don't know." HJ said, though he had his suspicions.

"Nothing ever works for you does it Samantha?" Hades continued. "Nothing lasts forever. Nothing will ever go as planned. You'll be just like your sister. You'll never live up to your mother's name. That's what that afraid of isn't it? Your afraid you'll become her? Your already one step there. You're not of royal blood. You'll never be looked at that way."

Sam blinked at the words, blinking away the tears that had started to form in her eyes.

"Sam." HJ said. "Don't listen to him. He doesn't know what he's talking about."

"You're a Queen, Sam." Harry said. "You don't have to listen to him."

"You're not sure of yourself are you Sam?" Hades continued. "You don't know what you want to be? You don't know what path to follow huh? You afraid he'll leave you like everyone else?"

"Dad shut the fuck up." Helios said. "Sam isn't the one who did anything to you."

"You're right." Hades said. "It's your sister. I need to see her now."

"You're not allowed at Ursula's." Helios said. "You know because you and Ursula have that feud if yours."

"Yes." Hades said. "I guess so. Your sister planned this well."

"Don't you have something else to say lord?" Pain asked.

"No." Hades said, shaking his head.

"Like an apology." Panic said.

"Just to clarify we're talking about Sam." Helios said, crossing his arms over his chest. "Go ahead dad."

"I'm sorry Sam." Hades said. "I directed anger at you that wasn't meant for you. I'm sorry for hurting your feelings."

Hades gagged at his words.

"Thanks." Sam said. "You can keep your medal. You pass."

"Do we still get to gossip?" Hades asked. "Oh wait no you can't do that."

"Why can't she?" Gil asked.

"Oh didn't she tell you?" Hades asked as Gil, Harry and HJ shook their heads.

"What are you going on about now?" Helios asked.

"Did Sam not tell you the news?" Hades asked. "That she's one of the people being sent to Auradon?" They all stared at him blankly. "Oh she didn't tell you?"

"Oh really?" Harry asked. "Tell me more."
