I was spending the weekend with my parents when I decided to look through the nursery dad built for me and Zane. It was later passed down to Calya and Talya then to Kevin.

"What are you doing in here?" came Calya's voice and I turned to look at her

"Remember my past." I replied to which she gave me a puzzled look.

"What about it?" another question from her.

"How good mom was and still is at her job as a mother." I said.

"OH...so why in the nursery?" she asked a third question but this time I didn't get to answer

"Leave her alone" Zane came pushing Calya out of the room and closing the door behind him.
"I thought it was your turn with Kyle" I said turning my back to him and looking through our baby album.

"It is. Kyle's asleep" he replied and I nodded. "So?"

"You were right Zane, I am pregnant. And I'm alone and scared" my voice cracked on the last word as I broke down.

"Hey..." he said, turning me to look him in his eyes "...you're not alone in this. You've got me and Suzanne. You don't have to go through this alone. I'm here."

" I feel so ridiculous right now." I said wiping my tears with the heel of my hand.

"Are you going to tell mom?" he asked and just as he said that, mom stepped in

"Tell me what?" she asked and Zane took out his phone

"oh look, the baby monitor just went off" he said before leaving the room.

Mom and I watching as he leaves. As soon as he was out of earshot mom turned to me and asked to go shopping with her.

"Yeah, why not?" I replied and she left, telling me she'd be waiting in the car.
