Marriage Before Love

I was in the campus bathroom when Amanda and her two minions walked up to me. I was confused why they would even come near me when they see themselves as better than all females on the campus

"Listen to me and listen to me good you slimy termite," she said starting off "Stay away from Maliky. He's mine."

"Don't you think this is rather childish?" I paused "This is so high school. Grow up" I said before moving past her.

"Don't let me catch you near him you slut" at that statement, I haulted my steps, then agonizingly slow, I turned towards her.

"I'm not the one seeking the boy's attention. I get it without asking for it. Don't think I can say the same for you" I said smiling and she glared at me

As I exited the bathroom, I saw Simonque about to enter. She looked worried for some reason I couldn't figure out. Just as she saw me, her worried expression changed to one of relief.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked and she smiled, shaking her head

"I just heard Amanda and her possie talking about you before they headed here. I was worried that they might hurt you" she said

"I dealt with them" I said shrugging, then continued saying "Amanda was just jealous because she thought I was with Maliky" when I heard a scoff coming from her

"How did she even get into college anyway?" she wondered out loud

"Beats me" I shrugged again "Maybe daddy's money did a whole lot for her... Too much if you ask me"

"I guess you're forgetting that your dad is also a very wealthy man too" she reminded me and I shrugged

"At least I don't depend on my dad's cash" I said and saw her nodding out of the corner of my eyes.

"That is so true"
