Maliky's POV

She kept screaming. I hated this, I hated seeing her like this. She was in so much pain and there was nothing I could do to soothe her.

I took a quick glance at her while I was driving and something red caught my eyes. I sped up, breaking speed limit as I realised it was blood. She was loosing consciousness.

"Hold on babe, were almost there" I told her, not letting the panic seep into my tone.

"I'm scared Maliky" she said, fighting to keep her eyes open

"I know baby" I whispered no longer trusting my voice "but everything will be okay" I don't even know if I'm assuring her or myself "just hold on"

I parked right at the door and lifted her limp bloody body into my arm. I haven't realised she's lost so much blood. I pushed myself to move faster inside the hospital and as I got inside, a wheeled stretcher was pushed in front of me by a few nurses and I gently laid her on it.

She was wheeled to the emergency room where they stopped me telling me I can't go any further.

"No, I won't leave her." I cried, trying to push past the man in the blue schrubs with dirty blonde hair "I can't leave her"

"I understand that you're worried sir, but you need to allow us to do our jobs." he said, still blocking my way

"Promise me you'll save them" I stopped pushing past him...at least trying to.

"I promise we'll do all we can to save both mother and child" he said then left me to wait.

Hours past by and a doctor came out with a tiny baby in her arms. She was smiling down at the child as if it was the most beautiful thing she's ever seen.

"Mr Foster?" she said, handing the child to me. "Congratulations dad" she smiles brightly
