"I bought all of this cake for you and you only like one kind?" Jung-kook complains when one cake out of six cake samples is the one I choose. Red velvet cake.

"It's been my favorite since I was little." I brag taking a big chunk out of the cake with my fork.

"Of course. You don't want to try any other cake?" Jung-kook leans back in his chair trying to look masculine. All I see a disgusting pose.

Jung-kook has taken me to a dessert shop miles away from where we live. Said this is where he took his mother all the time before she got a job overseas. It's a very expensive place, the cakes are $30 a piece, but the cakes are super sweet. I have heard about this place and I always wanted to go, Jung-kook just had to be the one to take me. But why is he taking me here? Could have taken his girlfriend or mom anybody else? Wait...never mind. "Aren't you thirsty?" He asks handing me napkins as I fill my mouth up with velvet cake.

I shake my head and swallow the sweetness with no problem not taking a bite. Jung-kook smirks and I fidget in my chair. Why did he have to act this way towards me? The only reason I did this was not to have Tae-hyung beat up Jungkook again but to push Tae-hyung into doing the same thing I did and that's confess. If nothing is going on between him and Hae-Win then nothing is going on between me and Jung-kook. He should have no problem with telling me how he truly feels because I know he likes me. Karma has nothing to do with it but two can play at that game. My phone begins to ring inside my sweatshirt. I smile awkwardly and stand from my seat. "I'll be right back." I say reaching for my phone as I stalk away from Jung-kook to the outside.

I look to see who is calling. Nam-joon. Right away I answer. "Hello?" I said. I haven't heard from him in a while and I barely see him at school anymore. Ji-min says the rumors really got to him because people wouldn't stop bothering him about drugs. Mark must be jealous. But Tae-hyung went a bit too far when it came to the rumors because I sometimes have people ask me if Nam-joon ever asked to sell drugs to me only because we sat by each other.

"Hey, where are you? We never got to hang out since the day at the hospital. By the way, are you okay now?" Nam-joon fills my mouth with questions I need to answer.

I gulp. "I'm fine, thank you for worrying. And well, right now...I'm um," I glance behind me to see Jung-kook through the glass scrolling on his phone. "I'm kind of busy, having lunch with my-" I pace back and forth. Come on! "With my grandma!" I lie. My grandma doesn't like sweet things so there's no way she'd agree to going here.

"And anyway I'm miles away from you!" I try making up excuses.

"Really? Where? I'm in upper Seoul so I have to be further than you could be." Nam-joon laughs.

"I'm in upper Seoul too..." I stop pacing and grip my phone.

"What? That's great! We can meet, I'd like to meet your grandma." Nam-joon tells me.

"No you wouldn't. No one would," I go back to looking at Jung-kook who is bored of his phone already. He gazes over at me with bored eyes like he is ready to leave at any moment. Jung-kook doesn't know I'm "dating" him to get Tae-hyung to realization about his true feelings. If one day he finds out and I'm on his hit list then so be it. But jeez at least be happy you got what you wanted. He begins to mess around with the cake samples but not eating them.

"Huh?" Nam-joon brings me back to the conversation.

I blink and go back to Nam-joon. "I mean, yea, sure. You probably wouldn't like her..she doesn't get along with people that well." That's for sure. Last time I saw my grandma was at my science fair where she made fun of my project and my partner for doing a bad job. That was fun and good memories she always brings up each holidays. She's not such a great person like her daughter is.
