A/N: Thank you for waiting for this update! Love you guys!!!

Since their fight at the hotel in Tanzania, Vegard avoided Bård. He rarely talks to him and if he does, it's very cold. He stopped caring about his brother or at least he stopped showing that he cared for Bård. He doesn't want to do this to Bård but he needed to learn a lesson. With them not talking, it became really hard for them to work with, especially now that they're in the middle of a world breakthrough because of The Fox.

"Hey, the producers asked if the songs for the Expensive Jacket Tour are ready." Calle interrupted Vegard in his office.

"Not yet." Vegard said without looking up. He was just staring at the blank sheet on his desk.

"Bård should help." Calle said crossing his arms.

"He doesn't want to." Vegard said, still not looking to Calle.

"Did you two talked already?" Calle asked, quite hopeful.

"Nope." Vegard said plainly.

"Then how did you know that he doesn't want to help?" Calle asked Vegard.

"You know, you're not helping by asking me a lot of questions." Vegard said, finally looking up.

"Come on! Just talk to him. You're too old for this! You both suck in doing things alone. His better with the lyrics, you're better with the melody. Just talk to him for goodness sake." Calle said in a resigned tone.

"No." Vegard said now paying attention to the blank sheet of paper.

"Okay. Now, how many did you composed already?" Calle asked.

"One, including this one." Vegard said referring to the blank sheet.

"You're kidding me right?" Calle said in disbelief.

"I wish I am." Vegard said, dropping the pen from his hand to his table.

"Okay, just call me if the producers tell you that it's the end of Ylvis. I'll treat you some beers." Calle said and then walked away.

Vegard picked his pen back and tried his hardest to focus on the song he's making.

Bård on the other room heard Calle and Vegard. He felt bad not helping Vegard but he needed to keep his distance from his brother. He's dying and it's not something he or Vegard can stop. He wanted Vegard to get used to being far from him. In that way, he'll be less hurt when the time comes for him to die. It's sad, but it seems that Calle's right. It's the end of Ylvis.

"Hey, you still not talking to Vegard?" Reve asked. She's sitting in the sofa and just waiting for Bård to go home so she could go home too.

"What is it with you?" Bård asked in return. He was sitting on his chair behind his desk.

"Why are you so mean?" Reve asked innocently.

"Because, you're annoying me." Bård said plainly without looking at her.

"Why? Is it because I am here or is it because I saved you from that fall?" Reve answered. It was the first time that she get to answer Bård back.

"Shut up." Bård hissed as he looked up to Reve.

"Tell me! You're annoyed because your agony should have been over by now if I didn't stopped you from dying that night!" Reve said rather bravely.

"Shut your mouth or someone will hear us!" Bård said in a whisper as he approached Reve to stop her from talking further.

"I don't care! You should be thankful that I saved you!" Reve said.

"Thankful? How can I be thankful when everything is fucked up. Don't act like you care for me because you just wanted to become human. You never wanted me alive or safe, you just wanted to use me so don't you ever interfere with my life and don't you tell me what to do with it!" Bård replied in a threatening whisper. He doesn't want anyone to hear their conversation.

Reve fell silent. He was right, she just wanted to be human that's why she saved him. But as time goes by, she had learned how to care for Bård. She doesn't want to see him hurt.

"What? You can't answer because it's true! You are just giving me a hard time here!"

"That's not true." Reve said quietly.

"Yes, it is." Bård said.

"I care for you." Reve said and walked out Bård's office.

Bård sat down on the sofa and cradled his head with his palms and let out a sigh. He must've gone too far. He shouldn't have said those words to Reve.

The day went by and Bård is now ready to go home. Reve didn't showed up after their fight, so he'll be going alone. As he was about to stand up from his desk, Calle entered inside his office.

"You going home?" Calle asked.

"Yup." Bård replied.

"Check this first." Calle said and he gave Bård a sheet of paper.

"What's this?" Bård asked.

"Your new song. Vegard made it."

"Tell him it's okay. I don't need to check it." Bård said coldly turning the paper back to Calle.

"Come on. Will you stop this? Here, read it, sing it, and let Vegard know what you think." Calle said. It's hard for him to see his two bestfriends avoiding each other.

"I will not do that." Bård replied.

"Just take a look at it." Calle insisted.

"That's enough. I told you he doesn't want to help. Just leave him alone." Vegard said coldly from outside the door of Bård's office. Calle looked at him, then to Bård and walked away. Bård was left clutching the piece of paper Calle gave him. He sat back to his chair and read it.

Ka Kan Meg Gi Deg/What Can I Give You

I can see that you're struggling

Know you have a hard time

Everything we had together is gone

You shine on the stage

But when the curtains have fallen

The mask crumbles from your face

And your spirit sinks

What can I give you?

What can I say to you?

Open the door and let me come inside

So much fun we had together

Here on this stage

Where did it go?

I'm calling for you

Give me an answer

He can't see the forest

For the green trees

The price of loneliness

Becomes the bottle of life

I walk across the creek

But don't bring back any fucking water

Everyone has thrown stones

At the glass house at some point

Bård fell silent. This is definitely what his brother is thinking. He then felt a punch of guilt. He can't do this to Vegard. He can't just avoid him and then die. Vegard would still be hurt regardless.

He stood up from the sofa and approached his table. He grabbed a pen from one of its drawers and wrote something on the lyric sheet. He waited for Vegard to leave before he snicked in to his office and put the paper back to his brother's table and let out a sigh before he went home.

A/N: Let's just pretend that they had only composed Ka Kan Meg Gi Deg during this time. The lyrics was from the subtitled video of Ylvis III translated by Emma. You can watch it on YouTube. Thank you for reading :)
