CHAPTER 7- Denial

Ylvis went very busy in Tanzania. Vegard became the love interest of the leading lady while Bård and Magnus became his brothers. It's funny to watch on screen but behind the scenes, everything's not the same. Vegard thought that because Bård hired a new assistant to replace Alija's place, his brother is now close to moving on. But he was wrong. It was just the start of a very long agony.

"I don't understand why we're taking too long in making this film. It's just a part of the scene, why are we spending most of our time eating instead of taping the scene?" Bård said as he was trying to act cool because the camera was focused on him.

"I don't know." Magnus replied with a full mouth.

"You should thank Kari Traa for everything we eat and spend here. They sponsored this." Bård said as he was slowly loosing his patience.

"Thank you Kari Traa." Magnus said to the camera.

They waited for another 30 minutes when someone announced that the goat's ready to be served.

"That's it! I quit! I'm not wasting my time here." Bård said and forced the IKMY camera to be turned off. Good thing he was speaking Norwegian so nobody understood him except for Vegard and the IKMY team. Bård left the set and drove their rented car. He doesn't know where to go but he drove the car anyway. Vegard tried to stop him while pretending to be calm so as not to catch any attention from anybody not Norwegian, but he failed miserably. Bård just ignored him. Vegard knew that Bård doesn't know any place in Tanzania except for their hotel. He's not even sure if Bård knew the way to get there.

Vegard apologized to both the movie and the IKMY directors. He doesn't really know why he have to save his brother from this mess. He's such a brat, Vegard thought.

Bård found his way to the hotel. He parked the rented car and then he went inside. He wasn't surprised when he saw Reve inside sitting at the receiving area. When Reve saw Bård, she approached him.

"Not now." Bård said without stopping or even giving Reve a glimpse.

"But they're worried about-" Reve was cut. She was keeping on Bård's pace.

"I said not now." Bård said, still not paying Reve any glimpse.

"Bård you-"

Bård stopped walking and looked at Reve with deep anger.

"Will it kill you to just stay a few meters away from me? I just want to be alone right now  and obviously, I can't do that if you're here." Bård said. His voice started to raise.

"No but..."

"No, it won't kill you! So get out of my sight now!" Bård yelled and continued walking. Reve stopped following Bård. She felt her face went hot. It was the first time that she felt that. She saw a lot of people staring at her. Her face grew even more hotter.

"What is this?" She asked herself while she touched her face with both of her hands.

"Humans have a lot of feelings." She said and went to her hotel room.

Bård went to the hotel's bar and started ordering shots. He drank every single shot he could until he could no longer drink. He ended up sleeping on the counter. After a few hours, Vegard arrived.

Vegard let out a sigh. "You're just here." he said as he was approaching Bård's seemingly unconscious body. He tapped his shoulder, and as expected, Bård didn't even budge.
