'' I think it was a really good thing you did there earlier.'' Yoongi whispers.
I shift a bit on my spot on the couch placing my arm on the backrest, resting my face in the palm of my hand. '' What do you mean?'' I whisper back.
'' With Jinae.'' He mumbles as he looks at his little sister, who fell asleep in my bed about twenty minutes ago, hence why we moved to the couch. '' You reassured her in a way I never could. You know what see feels, you know her fears. I could only try to imagine.''
I notice the sad look on Yoongi's face and realize how useless he must feel about not being able to help his sister. '' Don't be so hard on yourself.. She knows your doing the best you can. I mean, who stops going to school to spend all day with their sister because you don't want her to be alone. God Yoongi, I wish I had someone like you. I mean yes, I get visitors almost every day. But my mom has work, and both Jungkook and Jihyung have school and work. Most of the time they come right after they finish, stay for an hour and a half, and leave before dinner time. Most of the day and evening I spend alone. I don't mind it, but it just gets lonely after a while..'' I raise my head, letting my hand fall on Yoongi's, which is also laying on the backrest of the couch, giving it a gentle squeeze. '' You are a great brother Yoongi, don't ever doubt that.''
He looks at me, his eyes tearing up, but he doesn't cry. '' Thank you Jimin. You seem to know exactly what to say to people.'' He chuckles.
'' It's a gift.'' I shrug, to which he laughs again. '' How is she handling it? The treatment?''
'' Better then I expected.'' He nods. '' She got a stem cell transportation when they just found out, she was really sick after that, but they put her on pills for a while. Her form of leukemia isn't that aggressive and she has a good chance of recovering. The pills still make it possible for her to loose her hair though, the nurses already cut it short, in case it needs to be shaven off.. It surprises me, it's like, unless you know you wouldn't even notice she was sick.''
'' She's really strong. And she will look adorable.'' I smile.
It's silent for a while until Yoongi speaks up. '' So.. You're inside most of the day, right?'' I nod my head in response, I can't really remember the last time I went outside. '' How about Jinae and I take you out tomorrow? Go for a walk, go grab some coffee and ice cream at those little booths at the park? What do you say, hmm?"
" That sounds lovely.." I whisper, and I can't hold back a smile after a soft cheer from Yoongi.
'' We'll leave here around twelve then, is that okay?''
'' Twelve is fine, I'll make sure I'll be ready by then.'' I smile. '' Thank you Yoongi. I'm glad we became friends.''
'' Me too Jiminie.'' He chuckles, and it's then I notice I'm still holding his hand.
