Chapter 11

Confessing to the person you love below the stars.

We'll its more on being honest with the person you love and yourself.

The stars are my witness.

Unti unting napawi ang mga ngiti sa labi niya. Bumaba ang paningin niya sa akin.
He doesn't care about the stars now so he must heard me loud and clear.

I bravely look at his dark eyes as it bore into my soul. Na para bang inaalam kung totoo ako at ang nasabi ko. My fast beating heart is making me uncomfortable.

Anong sinasabi mo Arriah?
He asked in confusion

Mahal kita at hindi ko na yon uulitin.

He shook his head of disbelief. I never turned my eyes away.

Im not lying.

Sigurado ka ba sa sinasabi mo?

I whispered.

He moved away and jumped off the banca, naglakad siya hanggang dalampasigan at tumigil.

Papanindigan mo?

Mahina ang pagkakasabi niya pero narinig ko. Kami lang dalawa ng nandito. The hint of amusement is in his voice when he said that. I supressed my smile habang tumatango.

Baka pag pinanindigan ko hindi mo kayanin..
Nangiting sagot ko

May sinabi ka?

Lumingon siya sa kinaroroonan ko.
I don't know if he heard me.

Wala! Hintayin mo nga ako ang duga mo!
Natawa ako.

Tumalon ako sa bangka at tumakbo papunta sa kanya pero nagpatuloy lang sa paglalakad ang loko.

Nang naabutan ko siya I clung into his arms.

He was surprised and tried to remove his arms but I hung on tighter, So he just gave up and let me.

Hindi niya sinabi na gusto niya din ako pero masaya na rin ako.
Nasabi ko sa kanya ang feelings ko. He didn't reject me or push me off the water to drown me so it's fine. I hate drowning. 
Atleast now I can face him with no awkwardness or anything now.
Hindi niya alam kung kailan nawala ang inis niya sa lalaki.

Or maybe it's not like that at all. She's thinking that it's not irritation at all.
I just want him to notice me.
I bothered and pestered him so that he can talk to me.
Hindi kasi nagsasalita kung hindi importante kaya ayun.
Its effective naman eh.

He talks alot  na everytime nagsasagutan kami o di kaya nag sesermon siya.

I giggled with the thought.

I always followed him wherever he goes and try to do chores to impress him na palpak naman. Whenever his eyebrows furrowed  or he closed his eyes to calm himself down, I find myself amused. She was clueless where everything started and its no longer important. What's important right now is that Im happy.

Tanong niya kay Lin.

She asked Lin to help her prepare lunch for Kai. It's obvious her cooking is terrible. They decided to cook at Lin's home. Natatakot siya na baka masunog niya na ang buong bahay nila not just the kitchen.

Ako mismo ang kumuha ng gulay. I worked for the owner of the garden so that they can give me a few crops as an exchange.
