Kumunot ang nuo ko ng nakita ko si Kai. Medyo late na siyang umuwi so I decided to look for him. Few meters away from our home I saw him coming kaya sinalubong ko siya.

Hoy bakit late ka na umuwi!!
She pointed her fingers at Kai.

Kai lightly scratched his head.

Galing ka kay Cassandra?
She told herself to stop being overly possessive yet here she is acting like a mad wife. Hindi pa naman late umuwi si Kai hapon pa lang naman. OA lang talaga siya. Yep.

Kai remained silent and walk pass her.
She followed him. Silence means yes but not to Kai. Silence means yes or sometimes no. In short silence means nothing when you talk to Kai. Most of the times it's making you feel dumb and you're like talking to yourself.

I followed him silently when I saw a flower. Calachuchi ang tawag nila dito it's white and has a very sweet smell. Well atleast for her, she likes calachuchi.She placed the flower in her hair.

Sana may magbigay din sakin ng flowers.
Pag paparinig niya

Sino naman magbibigay sayo.
Si Kai, his eyes remained on the way.

Ikaw.
Nangiting sabi ko. Ang landi ko.

Bakit kita bibigyan. He glanced at me.

Naasar tuloy ako.

Ewan ko sayo wala kang kwentang kausap.

I walked first. Pagdating sa bahay nagsalita siya

Aalis ako bukas.
Where is he going? Hindi naman siya nagpapaalam. Ngayon lang, at ayaw niyang maging pakialamera. Well ganoon siya minsan. Fine, palagi pero tinatamad akong makialam ngayon. Basta hindi siya sasama kay Cassandra Keri lang.

I stopped when he offered me something.

Ano yan?
It's money bills crumpled and he's giving it to me.

Nagtrabaho ka.
Yeah I worked on the fruit farm but I just picked a few fruits then spent most of the time staring at him.

I don't need it. Keep it.
Tinalikuran ko siya. It's true. Where should I spent it here. Kai is providing all basic needs and I dont need more.
Well except personal things like sanitart napkins but Kai is asking Lin to buy it for me. Whenever I need something important sinasabi ko lang.

I hushed.

I glared.

Wag kang maingay. Ayoko sa maingay.
Wow parang ang tahimik ko sa part na yon.

Natawa si Kai.

Maybe he's thinking what I'm thinking.

The next morning he left early. Paggising ko wala na siya. He cooked breakfast. After eating I'm left bored at home so I decided to go to Lin.

Pero nagulat ako ng pagdating ko sa bahay nila nandoon si Maya at Cassandra.

Arriah Lika upo ka. Nagkwekwentuhan kami.
We sat together. It's weird. I dislike Maya before and I dislike Cassandra but here we are chatting like old friends. Somethings eerie

Arriah nakwento saakin ni Maya na tinitignan nila ang mga istasyon ng Police sa bayan.

I froze.

Tinitignan nila kung may nawawala ba para mahanap mo na ang pamilya mo.

I never asked for their help. I remained calm. Ayoko magmukhang bastos.
