a/n: here's the first one shot! i've never written a one shot before so sorry if it's really bad, i'm still trying to learn, lol. this one was requested by Oneandonly_keary: Jesy and Perrie are married with twins, but struggle to spend time with each other. (Perrie g!p) ps we need more pesy with dominant Perrie

-story based on jesy and perrie, struggling to spend time with each other while jesy works a lot and their five year old twins keep them busy.

Perrie's POV:

"Hey, it's Jesy, leave a message," I groan at the sound of Jesy's voicemail. "Hey babe, I just wanted to chat but never mind, I guess. Call me later. Love you, bye," I say hanging up the phone. Little Mix had broken up a few years ago. We broke up because we wanted to start our families and would get back to gather when they got a little older. Jesy and I got married at the end of the LM5 era. Shortly after, we used a sperm donor and I got pregnant. We had twins, a boy named James and a girl named Jayla. They're five now, and they are a handful. We are still best friends with Leigh-Anne and Jade, who have families of their own. After breaking up, Jesy got casted to be in a horror film. Even though it was being filmed in America, I told her to do it anyway since it was her dream. From there she got casted in loads of other things, movies, tv shows, even voice overs. She goes back and forth living here and working there, but it sucks because we don't get to spend as much time with each other. When she does come, we have to look after the twins so we don't ever get a moment alone.

"Mamy, your phones ringing," James says, snapping me back into reality. "Thanks bud," I say, taking my phone from him. I look and see I have messages from Leigh and Jade. "Hey Pez, how are you doing?" Leigh asked. "A little down, I tried to call Jes, but she didn't answer," I replied. "Aw babe, when is she supposed to come back?" Jade asked. "Next month, but when she comes home, all we do is watch over the twins. We never get time for ourselves. I love the kids, but I want my Pesy time," I answer. "I know long distance sucks but, have you told her that? That you want to spend time just the two of you? Because we can watch over the twins anytime and let you two go out," Leigh responded. I thought about it for a second. "I guess not," I type back, "I guess I just assumed she didn't want to spend time with me and just wanted to see the twins." "Talk to her!" Both of them text me.

I sigh, and dial her number again. Once more, it goes to voicemail. Instead of leaving a message, I just hang up, tears starting to fall down my face. "Mama, what's wrong?" Jayla asked me. "Nothing babe, Mama's just a little stressed out, okay?" I say, reassuring her. "If I caused you that much stress, why haven't you told me?" I hear a familiar voice say behind me. I turn around and see Jesy standing in the doorway of the living room. "Mamy" both of the twins shout, running over to her. "Hey kids," Jesy says, giving them a hug, "I missed you." They smiled, "We missed you too Mamy," James said.

Jesy stands back up and walks over to me. "What are you doing back so soon?" I ask her. "I wanted to come surprise you early," she said. "That's why you weren't answering me," I say quietly. "Babe, I'm so sorry. I'm not sure what I've done exactly to stress you out, but I want to fix it," she says, hugging me. "It's just that, we barely spend time with each other anymore. When you are home, we have to spend it looking after the kids who are a bloody handful," I say tearing up. "You know what, we're going to have a date night. We'll go out, and come back home with no kids tonight," she says smiling. "Really?" I ask. "Yeah, I already texted Leigh and she said she would take them. "Thank you so much babe!" I smile, giving her a kiss on the lips. "No problem, now let's go get ready," she says, grabbing my hand.

After each of us are done getting ready, we meet downstairs. "You look gorgeous," I say when I see her. "How did I get so lucky?" She asks me. I bite my lip, and give her a kiss on the cheek. "After you m'lady," Jesy says, leading me out the door.

We ate at a formal restaurant. It was very nice and homey at the same time. When we were down with dinner, we took a walk down the boardwalk which is near the restaurant. We stopped at the end, looking into the moonlight for a few minutes. "I'm sorry," I say, breaking the silence. "Why?" she asks. "It was selfish of me to want to spend time without the kids," I say, "It's our job to raise them." Jesy takes my hand, "Babe, you are allowed to have some peace and quiet sometimes. They may be our kids but they are hard to handle by yourself. I know sometimes I'm gone for a month or two at a time so I'm not with them 24/7, but you are and you're doing amazing," she says with a smile.. "I love you," I say, smiling back. "I love you too," she says, kissing me and giving me hug, one I definitely needed.
