A blonde walked through her rather extravagant hallway. Her short, wavy hair flowed in it's natural state as she began walking carefully down her third flight of stairs.
She entered her kitchen and made her way over to her large windows. As she drew back the curtains, the morning sun shone brightly through into her home.
Since being in isolation, she's taken a new liking to mornings. She's woken up before nine almost everyday so she could workout with Alex. She never thought she'd see the day where she was happy before eleven.
The Little Mix member was particularly cheerful this morning. Starting tomorrow, their stay-at-home order was being lifted, meaning they could go back to normal life, with the exception of a few precautions of course.
To celebrate the good news, she was going to make some pancakes for her household. She opened her top cabinets and brought down a few bowls. She made her way to her cupboard and grabbed the pancake mixture.
As she began adding the ingredients to the larger bowl, she heard footsteps from down the hall.
"Hey," Ellie said, appearing in the kitchen doorway.
Perrie grinned at her best friend/cousin and continued mixing the batter.
"What are you making?" Ellie asked walking over and peering into the bowl in Perrie's hands.
"Pancakes. We're finally getting out of lockdown!"
"Do you need any help?"
"No, I think I'm okay. Some company would be nice though."
Ellie nodded and took a seat at a barstool near the counter. The two began chatting about their plans after lockdown and what they needed to pick up from the shops.
The blonde could hear her phone beginning to buzz. She smiled as she knew the girls were up and probably talking in their group chat about who knows what. She ignored the messages and grabbed a pan from her cabinet, placing it on her stove. She figured she would just enter the conversation as she ate, not wanting the batter to go bad.
The messages continued as she turned the dial on the stove, making one of the burners heat up.
"Do you want me to check it?" Ellie asked pointing to her cousin's phone, which was face down on the counter. Perrie shook her head.
"No, it's fine. I'll just check it after."
Ellie nodded and picked up Hatchi, who ran in with Travis following close behind.
Just as the band member flipped the last pancake and slid it onto a plate, Alex came around the corner.
"Hey babe," he said sending her a smile as he took a seat next to Ellie.
Perrie returned the gesture and started dividing the pancakes among the three, not forgetting to give both Hatchi and Travis a mini one.
She walked with the three plates and placed each one in front of Ellie, Alex, and herself. She took the chair next to Alex as he kissed her cheek, making the blonde's face heat up. The three began speaking about a Netflix movie they had watched last night, and how they were still confused by it.
In the club, boy, I'll forget you not, badda bang bang
Alex chuckled at his girlfriend's choice of ringtone. The singer shot daggers at him as she got up and retrieved her phone. Her heart dropped at the caller id, praying that she didn't miss an interview or press that she was supposed to do.
