Perrie's POV:

It's been a few days and Jade still isn't feeling any better and it's really starting to concern me. "Hey babe, do you want some tea?" I ask her. She nods as she lays on the couch with Jesy and Leigh. "Maybe you should go to the emergency room?" Jesy suggests. I see Jade tense up at that thought. "I know our tour doctor normally accurate, but maybe he's not this time," she explains. I nod. "That's not a bad idea," I say. I take the now finished tea and hand it to Jade and sit next to her. "Why don't we go try that?" I ask her gently. She hesitates for a minute before finally nodding her head in agreement. Both go and get dressed and then tell the bus driver where to go.

We make it to the hospital and check in at the desk. She hands us a clipboard with a bunch of paperwork. We sit in the back of the waiting room, hoping to go unnoticed as Jade filled out the papers. She brings the papers back up to the deck when she's done and joins me back in our chairs. She places her head on my shoulder and I rub her back. I look around the waiting room. There's loads of people here so it will probably be a while before we're brought back.

We sit for about 45 minutes and Jade at some point fell asleep. I'm going to let her sleep as long as she can since she hasn't slept well in days. "Jade Thirlwall?" a nurse called. I gently shake Jade awake and we walked with the nurse to the back. Once we finally got back there, Jade sat on the bed and I sat in one of the chairs next to her. "So what seems to be the issue?" the nurse asked. "Her throat has been hurting really bad and she has a bad headache. She also had a fever of 101.3," I explain. "How long has she been feeling this way?" she asks. "About a week," I say. "We went to our tour doctor and he said it was just strep and gave her some antibiotics, but they haven't done anything," I say. "Tour doctor?" she asks. I nod my head. "Yes, we're on tour right now. Little Mix?" I say. The nurse nods her head in realization. "Oh, yeah. I love some of your songs," she says. "Thanks," I say. "I'll go notify a doctor and they should be in soon," she says as she walks out.

I sit with Jade on the bed as we wait, trying to comfort her in any way possible. We wait for another half hour before the doctor walks in. "Sorry about the wait. So, you have a sore throat?" he asks Jade. She nods her head. "Okay, let me see," he says. He takes her temperature and rights something down. Then, he asks her to open her mouth so he can look at her throat. He writes something else down. He feels around her neck before finally speaking. "Okay, so you still have a fever of 100.3. Your throat has white in it and is swollen, do you know what that means?" he asks. We both shake our head. "That means you have tonsillitis. I would recommend getting them taken out considering your career. If you would like to, I can have someone do it today," he says. I felt Jade tense up at the thought of surgery. She finally nods her head. "Okay, i'll have someone in to get you prepped," he said walking out. "Don't worry babe, you'll be fine. I had to get it done and I'm fine," I said comforting her. I text Leigh and Jesy the news and they both respond with various forms of good luck.

The nurse came back and started prepping her. When she was ready, I walked with them all the way to the operating room. Once she was in there, I walked over to the waiting room and started dozing off.

I woke up to voices next to me. I rubbed my eyes and saw Jesy and Leigh sitting with me. "How long have you guys been here?" I ask. "Not too long, maybe thirty minutes," Jesy said. "Yeah, we decided not to wake you," Leigh said.

We chatted for a while about different things until the nurse came out. "Jade Thirlwall?" the nurse said. All three of us stood up. "She's done with the surgery, everything went great. She's coming off of the anesthesia but she'll be awake soon," she says. "Can we go see her?" Leigh asks. "Yes, right this way," the nurse said motioning for us to follow her. We walk with her to Jade's room where she was half awake. "Hey babe, how are you?" I ask her. "A little better," she croaked out. "At least you somewhat have your voice back," Leigh said. I didn't tell her the part where her throat will hurt a lot worse then it did before, and she won't be able to speak.

"Thank you, girls," she said in a raspy voice. "For what?" Jesy asked. "Being here, and taking care of me," she said. We all did a group hug, well as best as we could with Jade still laying on the bed.
