Getting Older

It was a Saturday night in the Edwards household.

Saturday for the Edwards normally meant staying up a little later watching Disney movies until about ten before going to bed,

every, single, week.

This week was different. The group had won an award for Best Single. It was a pretty big accomplishment for them considering they were done from their hiatus of about 18 years.

So, it's been a long time since they were in the industry, and lots of stuff has happened.

Leigh-Anne and Andre were the first ones to seal the deal about halfway through promo for LM6. The pair exchanged their vows about a year later on a very exotic island near the Caribbean.

They have two kids: Ava, who is about 14 years old and Michael, who is 12.

Jesy on the other hand is completely different. After her and Chris split during the year of lockdown and isolation, Jesy was single for almost year until she met her, now husband, James at an album release party.

Jesy stayed true to her word when she said that she wasn't sure she was motherly enough to have kids. So even after all the convincing from the other girls, she is still the only one yet to have any kids.

Perrie's is a little confusing. Her and Alex were going pretty good until a drunken night at a club. Perrie found Alex making out with another girl in the back of a club, making her end the relationship right then.

About a month or two after, Perrie found out she was pregnant with her and Jade's first child, Olivia.

Yes, Perrie and Jade's first kid.

After being cheated on and heartbroken, Jade was there for Perrie all throughout the breakup, making the blonde realize she was with the wrong person all along.

A little over two years later, Jade was coming home from the grocery store late at night after Perrie had run out of medicine for her strep throat.

Just as she was turning the corner to enter the tube station, a man grabbed her from a back alleyway.

He had taken advantage of her and then left the brunette stranded in the middle of Canary Wharf.

Lucky for Jade, Leigh-Anne was nearby meeting up with her sister.

Jade found out she was pregnant a few weeks later and wasn't going to go through with the pregnancy at first.

She ended up canceling her appointment a few days before and gave birth to her and Perrie's second daughter, Amelia.

The band had to go on break because even though Leigh-Anne was also pregnant and doing great, Jade wasn't.

The younger girl had quite a few complications and not to mention some PTSD.

The band was only set to go on break for about a year but different things kept coming at them so they ultimately decided to stop.

Now, Jade and Perrie also have two boys, Max and Oliver. The couple got married about three years ago and everything has been great ever since.

Tonight was a big deal for the Jerrie household. Olivia was finally aloud to stay home alone for the night.

Jade and Perrie were going to be out late at the award show and then the after party so the pair probably wouldn't be back until the early hours in the morning.

They had sent their other kids off with their mams, who were close by.

As much as they trusted their oldest, leaving her in charge of herself, an eleven year old, an eight year old, and a six year old didn't sit well with the two.
