Jesy stood outside her car door anxiously.

Five years.

It's been five years since all four members of the former girl group were all together.

There wasn't a falling out.

There wasn't a feud.

If anything it was the opposite.

The girls were on top of the world. They had achieved their lifelong dreams of becoming the world's greatest girlband.

They had gotten older, so obviously there was talk about what was the next step.

Ultimately, they decided to end the best years of their lives. Each had gotten offered solo contracts that were pretty good. They took them, after making sure everyone had a good deal.

Unfortunately for the girls, they all had gotten offers from different managements. In addition, their music took off at different parts of the world.

For Perrie, her music began to take off a little after she released her first album. It was a slow start, but she began to make headlines again afterwards. Her label was based out of London, so she was still big in the UK and didn't really venture off anywhere else except on the rare occasion.

Jesy was also based out of London, not too far from Perrie's label. Her first album did pretty well, but she began to loose some of that passion for music now that she was by herself. It wasn't the same without her three sisters. Her career was at a standstill.

She even decided to delete social media altogether, which according to Jesy was one of the best decisions of her life. She still however, caught up on all the other girls' projects through the media and news but at this point she didn't know what was true or false.

She only saw Perrie on the rare occasion, due to the blonde's busy schedule. It was mostly just a wave or a quick hug backstage.

Leigh-Anne ended up forming a large audience out in Australia, so she primarily spends her time there. She sold her luxurious house in Surrey and bought a smaller one in High Wycombe that she could stay in when she visited.

They only real communication she'd had with any of the girls was with Perrie. The older girl had written a few songs for her that made it onto the blonde's album. But other than that they haven't really seen her in person due to the distance between them.

Jade was different. She stopped communicating with the three girls all together. She broke America immediately after her first single. She was just as famous as Ariana Grande at this point. The girls had seen her on numerous award shows but never in person.

Each time there was a message in their group chat, there was no response from her. They even tried texting her separately but still nothing.

They had promised to keep in touch with each other so they wouldn't grow apart. But, those messages went from daily, to weekly, to monthly, and now it's just on holidays with the exception of a few miscellaneous texts here and there from the other three.

Jesy's nerves crept back when she saw the first car pull up next to her. Would it be weird? Or even awkward? Would they just start chatting like nothing ever happened? Jesy had no clue.

They all planned to meet in the parking lot outside of their former label so they could catch up quickly before going inside.

Jesy recognized the shadow inside of the car and saw the figure smiling brightly at her.

"Jesminda!" Perrie exclaimed opening the door of her white Jeep.

"Pez!" Jesy said running over to the girl and pulling her into a tight hug.
