"Crap, crap, crap!"

"No."

Jade's distraught voice echoed through the large apartment. Holly, the brunette's roommate, sat up from her spot on the couch, a confused expression spread across her face.

The brunette said she was going to take a nap, claiming she didn't feel well, so Holly didn't even know she was awake.

She listened for Jade's voice again but it was just silent.

Holly stood up and started walking to the other end of the apartment.

"Jade?" she called out.

When there wasn't an answer, she stuck her head into the various rooms, looking for the small girl.

She finally checked Jade's room and sighed noticing her closed on-suite bathroom door. She took note of the messy bed, showing that the brunette was asleep but something must have woken her up.

The blonde walked to the door and listened intently. Her heart broke when she heard muffled sobs coming from behind the door.

"Jade?" she asked, knocking softly.

Jade's sobs quieted but the door remained closed with no answer.

"Jade," Holly said in desperation. "Please open the door."

Small footsteps could be heard and suddenly the locked turned, causing Holly to open the door.

A frail Jade appeared. Her eyes and nose were red and swollen. She had tears streaming down her face and dark circles under her eyes.

Holly bypassed all of those and took notice of the small stick in her hand. Her eyes went wide as she realized what it was.

"Is that?..." she trailed off, careful not to set off the small girl.

Jade just simply nodded and cried harder.

"Well?" Holly asked gently.

Jade flipped the test so it was facing the blonde, who smiled brightly when she saw it.

Pregnant.

"Jade! Oh my god!"

Holly quickly ran over to pull her best friend into a hug. However, she frowned and pulled away when she noticed Jade didn't have the same enthusiasm.

"You're not happy," she noted, making Jade nod her head in agreement.

"Why not? Haven't you always wanted a family?"

Jade retrieved a tissue from a box on the counter before answering.

"Yeah, but not right now. Maybe when I was in a stable relationship and wasn't in the middle of my sixth album."

Holly sighed and grabbed ahold of Jade's hand, leading her to the brunette's bed. They sat down and Jade leaned her head into Holly's shoulder.

"Everyone's going to think I'm a slut. Especially the girls, I've ruined everything for them."

"What? No they aren't."

"Yeah. If it wasn't for me getting blackout drunk this probably wouldn't be happening."

About two months ago, Jade started seeing someone. They've managed to keep it pretty quiet since paparazzi would go crazy and not leave them alone. A few weeks ago, Jade was really nervous to go over to his house for the first time which caused both of them to get very drunk and sleep together.
