Jade grabbed her bags and started to exit the train. After seeing those pictures of her as a child on old news websites had freaked her out. She was zoned out, almost oblivious to her surroundings.
Even though she found out everything last night, those articles confirmed everything. Making this nightmare, as Jade called it, real.
She didn't even realize the train arriving back in London until she saw the passengers stand up and claim their bags. Luckily she didn't bring more than a large backpack, so she was out quickly.
She headed toward the station's exit. It was still pretty early so the station was populated heavily with older people. No one that would stop her and ask for a picture.
Once she reached the outside, she began walking towards the next tube station.
The sun was just beginning to rise over the nearby river, making Jade calm just for a moment.

She had finally gotten to the tube station near her apartment. It was only three stops but it felt like a lifetime.
She headed into her building and quickly up to her apartment. She placed her key in the lock and turned it.
She entered inside and threw her bag on the couch. She didn't have to worry about waking up Holly since she had planned to stay in South Shields another week for a family occasion. She figured she would spill everything once she got back.
She turned on the kettle and reached for her phone, quickly texting the girls to let them know she was home.
Okay, I'm home. Just come over whenever. I know it's still early
Once again, she saw Perrie typing despite it being early in the morning.
On my way
Jade sighed a breath of relief and got two Disney mugs out of the cabinet. She poured the hot liquid into both and took them over to the couch with her.
She knew Perrie would only be a few minutes since she lived nearby so the brunette grabbed a fluffy blanket and draped it across her.
After about 15 minutes, Jade heard a soft knock on the door.
"It's open."
Perrie opened the door gently and smiled as she entered the apartment.
"Hey, what's going on? Are you alright?" the blonde asked as she hurried over to her friend.
"I honestly have no idea. It's a lot so I'm going to wait until Leigh and Jes are here because I don't know if I can explain it more than once."
Perrie nodded.
"Leigh should be up soon and Jesy well, maybe we'll send Leigh over to wake her up," Perrie said chuckling.
Jade laughed and reached for the mug before handing it to Perrie.
"Thanks," she said, taking the mug.
"So what were you doing up so early?" Jade asked as she relaxed back into the couch.
Perrie shrugged.
"I don't know. I couldn't sleep. Alex has been training in Manchester all week and Ellie is on a trip with her friends so being alone in the house has me a little on edge I think."
"Well, you're welcome to stay here if you want. I think we could both use the company."
"I might take you up on that. It'll be like old times when we used to live together."
Jade gave a sad face.
"I miss the Jerrie flat."
"Me too. Such a simpler time back then."

Leigh-Anne had texted that she was leaving about 20 minutes later. Jesy still hadn't answered so they sent her to go get her.
Once she had texted that both of them were on their way, Perrie and Jade put in a movie to watch while they waited. Since they don't live in London, it was going to take a little longer to get there.
About halfway through the movie, there was another knock on Jade's door.
Perrie stood up to open the door and let both girls in.
Jesy almost pushed the other two girls out of the way to make her way to Jade, concern filling her eyes as she sat down next to the younger girl.
"What's up, babe?" Jesy asked placing a gentle hand on Jade's shoulder.
"Alright, I guess there's no way to say this so I'm just going to say it."
Leigh-Anne and Perrie sat on the couch opposite of the other bandmates.
"So, I was going through a box of old stuff and found some pictures of when I was younger. The dates on the pictures were off, like a few were dated before I was born. I was confused and asked my mam about them and it turns out that they've been lying to me my whole life."
The other three girls' faces were confused.
"What do you mean?" Leigh-Anne asked.
"Apparently my mam, isn't my mam."
Slight gasps were heard around the room. Each of them knew how much Jade looked up to her so just hearing that was sad.
"I'm so confused," Perrie said, trying to wrap her brain around everything.
"She technically my aunt. Her sister is my mam. I didn't even know she had a sister. I guess she was a complete mess like on drugs and stuff, so my 'parents' took me from her when I was a baby and told everyone they adopted me."
"No one went looking for you?" Jesy asked.
"I guess she had called my 'mam' about me a few times but she didn't tell her where I was. After that she stopped. As for my real dad, I have no idea who he is."
Jesy reached for Jade's hand and gave it a small squeeze.
"So what happened with the dates on the pictures?" Leigh-Anne asked curiously.
"They don't know exactly when I was born, just that it was sometime between September and November of 1991. December 26th is when they got a new 'fake' birth certificate since my real one got lost somewhere. So I'm really 28."
"Woah, you could be older than Leigh," Jesy said to which Jade nodded.
"You should try to track them down and figure out more details," Perrie suggested.
"I can't. She died when I was six from and overdose and I have no idea who my dad is."
Jade didn't cry when all of this information was told to her. She didn't cry after she got back into her childhood bedroom or on the train back to London. But she was now.
Jade felt the tears brimming in her eyes. She quickly tried to swipe them away before anyone noticed. She was too late, Jesy saw her watering eyes and immediately took the girl in her arms.
"I'm sorry. It all just really hit me."
"Don't apologize, babe. We're here for you. Whatever you need," Leigh-Anne said as her and Perrie moved to the other couch to join the hug.
After Jade calmed down a bit, Perrie spoke up.
"Do you want to try and find him? Your real dad I mean. We could hire someone and really look."
Jade nodded.
"Yeah, I want to."
"Then let's do it."
