It's Alright (Perrie)

-i tried to make it my writing style so i did change it a little
*sorry it took so long but, i'm officially back to writing this book and have some ideas on how i'm going to "revamp it."

Perrie anxiously ran through her rather large home. She quickly grabbed the dirty laundry that had somehow made it onto the floor, along with some bags and shoes that sat next to it.

Perrie sighed in relief as she loaded the clothes into the washer and turned the dial, starting the machine.

The other Little Mix band members were going to be there any minute and Perrie has spent the last twenty minutes cleaning, due to taking a nap that ran two hours late.

It wasn't that the girls hadn't seen her home messy, in fact she was known as being one of the messiest members next to Jesy. It was only the second time the girls would be over since she had moved and she wanted everything to be perfect.

Alex was out of town with the team for about two weeks and Ellie has gone on a vacation to Spain with a few of her friends so Perrie felt rather lonely home alone.

She broke out of her clouded thoughts as a light knocking filled the room.

Immediately, Hatchi and Travis ran to the door and began barking, making Perrie roll her eyes.

"Hush!" she said as she moved them aside so she could open the door fully where she was met with a hug.

"Leigh Leigh!"

"Pez!" Leigh-Anne mimicked, pulling through blonde into her embrace.

The two broke away and Perrie moved aside, allowing the older girl to walk inside.

"So, how've you been?" Perrie asked, walking to her kitchen with Leigh-Anne following close behind.

"Alright, honestly not looking forward to work on Monday."

Perrie nodded and shuddered at the thought of having to get up at 4am and not get back until 10 or 11 at night.

"Where's Jes and Jade?"

"I think they're almost here. They sent me a fun video of them dancing to 'Break Up Song' in the car a few minutes ago," Perrie said handing an alcoholic drink to Leigh-Anne, who accepted it and took a sip.

Eventually, the two remaining members had arrived at the blonde's house.

They were having fun, dancing to music, sipping drinks, and eating the pizza that had just been delivered, just overall enjoying each other's company.

Ding, Ding

"One sec," Perrie said to the other three girls who were too consumed in their conversation about Jason Derulo to notice the girl's departure.

The youngest member walked over to her coffee table where her phone had sat face down for the past hour.

She picked it up and unlocked it before reading her message.

I'm sorry but, I don't think I can do this anymore. We're done.

Perrie's jaw dropped. She had spoken to Alex less than three hours ago and everything seemed fine. What could have changed in that time frame?

Tears began to cloud her vision. Not long after her hands began shaking and her heart began beating.

She brought her hand to her mouth, hoping to escape the sobs that followed before running past the other girls and up the two flights of stairs before reaching her bedroom.

Jesy, Leigh-Anne, and Jade stopped mid-conversation when they saw the blonde run past them and the sound of a door slamming a few seconds later.

The three exchanged a few confused, but concerned faces before dropping their pizza and running up the stairs.

Jesy was the first one to make a move.

"Pez? You alright?" she asked, knocking softly on the door.

When there was no answer, she brought her hand to the door handle and turned it, a surprised expression spread on her face when she discovered the door wasn't locked.

Leigh-Anne and Jade followed close behind Jesy as they walked quietly into the room Perrie and Alex shared.

Their hearts broke when they found Perrie face down on the bed sobbing into one of her pillows.

Each girl ran to a different part of the bed and placed a hand on her back.

"You okay bubs?" Jesy asked again.

This time, Perrie shook her head but remained with her face buried into the pillow case.

"What happened?"

That only made Perrie cry harder.

Jade looked at the small girl sadly, it was hurting her that she couldn't do anything to help her.

"Pez, we need to know what happened to help you," Leigh-Anne said sweetly from beside her.

Perrie seemed to listen to those words because she sat up and turned around so her back was leaning against the headboard and facing the other girls, her pillow clutched in her hands.

"Alex..."

Perrie bit her bottom lip to stop a sob before continuing.

"Alex broke up with me."

The other girls shared a concerned look before looking back at Perrie with sympathetic faces.

"It's alright, just let it out," Jesy said as she pulled the girl so her head was resting against Jesy's chest.

"I'm just not good enough."

"What!" Jesy said loudly, causing Leigh-Anne and Jade to jump.

"I'm just not good enough. My personality is bad, I'm probably, barely a five on a scale of one to ten."

Jesy's heart broke listening to the younger girl.

"Babe, why do you think that?"

Perrie shrugged.

"This is the second one that's broken up with me through text so that has to be the reason."

Jesy, Leigh-Anne, and Jade looked at the girl in shock.

"Hun, that is not true at all. If anything, he's the one with a bad personality. He's missing out on you," Jade said placing a gentle hand on Perrie's shoulder, giving it a squeeze.

"Pez, you're so sweet and caring. You're a model! Absolutely stunning," Leigh-Anne chimed in.

"And, you're so much better without him. You don't need someone like that messing up your life. You need good people around you," Jesy finished.

Perrie smiled slightly and sat up from her spot on the bed. She wiped the remaining tears off of her face with her sleeve before turning back to the other girls.

"Thank you."

She pulled each of them in until they formed a group hug. Each second the girls were surrounding her, Perrie felt the sadness disappear and felt levels of confidence and motivation course through her veins.
