"do you know anyone named xu minghao?" the blonde asked.
"just how did you—"
the blonde interjected, smirking."that guy's got a psychological condition, or more likely, he's got split personality disorder, and you're keeping him safe with you?" said soonyoung, smirking at the expression junhui is giving him right now.
junhui's brows wrinkled as his hand clenched into a fist.
"how great," soonyoung said dryly. "i like it, that expression," he added, his voice eerie.
"how did you know him, and how did you know I was keeping him with me?" junhui wondered.
with furrowed brows, fists in a fist, eyes flaming, and lips lying in a straight line, he's looking tense right now."who the hell are you?" junhui added.
soonyoung, on the other hand, appears to be carefree, as if he couldn't care less about the world and its nonsense.
"perhaps he can be considered an old colleague? or should i say that he's an old comrade of mine," the blonde replied.
it wasn't the kind of response the brunette haired man expected and it's safe to assume that he was astonished.
"were you close with him before?" junhui inquired.
soonyoung cocked his head. "i am," he said.
"Is that so? but how did you know I'm keeping him?" junhui said again.
"your fragrant, that familiar scent—" started the blonde maniac, giving junhui goosebumps.
"so, what's up with my fragrance?" junhui asked, trying to project a strong and serene demeanor.
"his scent clings within you, and i can't mistaken his scent with others, am i right?" soonyoung said, giving junhui chills all over his body.
crap, this man is just as creepy as they stated. junhui pondered.
"well, do you think i'm creepy now, buddy?" the blonde questioned, smirking.
"holy crap! wait up— how did you just know that, just what are you? a brain reader or something?" junhui was caught aback by how quickly words flew out of his mouth.
"i didn't have to be a brain reader or anything to figure out what you're thinking right now, friend," soonyoung smirked.
his eyes looked like they were drilling a hole directly into your soul as he went on to say, "didn't you realize that yourself, wen junhui?"
the brunette security guy sat up straight, attempting to regain his composure.
given that he didn't even give his name to the blonde, hearing his complete name from soonyoung's mouth is scarier than he expected.
he opted to ignore the blonde guy, which was the nicest option among all the other options on his thoughts right now, rather than talk to the psycho guy who gave him the creeps.
i can't stomach being around this person for a day, and with this circumstances, how does doctor lee manage to be around him for an hour or more? junhui sighed quietly as he reconsider his choice of job.

"you have to go to the session hyung, your patient is waiting for you," the younger said but Jihoon preferred to take care of his dongsaeng.
"no, i insist. i will stay here and i already told them about this, so just sit back and let me take care of you just for today." jihoon said, refusing to go and showing no signs of leaving anytime soon.
"but you don't have to—" jihoon interrupted the youngster.
"i said that i insisted," jihoon stated emphatically.
the younger simply sighs in defeat, knowing full well that he will never win an argument with his hyung.
"hyung," he said, and jihoon hummed back.
he frowned and questioned, "am I a burden to you?"
with a frown, jihoon sighs.
"lee chan," he said softly as the younger hung his head low.
"what makes you think that you're a burden?" he asked.
chan replied, barely audible, "simply cause—"
"you're not a burden to hyung, and you'll never be a burden to me," the elder continued as the younger nodded slowly.
"your fever might calm down soon or sooner," he remarked, "so i'll just stay here for a bit."
"but hyung—" chan calls out to his hyung one more.
jihoon asked, "yeah?"
"won't your patient look for you?" chan wondered.
jihoon was shaken by the question.
he had forgotten that the case he's presently handling isn't anything he should miss a single day session but because of his concern for the younger who had been rushed to the hospital earlier due to a high temperature, the thought slipped his mind.
Jihoon cannot afford to squander a single second, minute, or hour in order to tackle the blonde's exceedingly unique case.
"i well, i'm sure he'll manage. also, that guy won't bother looking for me. in the first place, he wasn't that normal," jihoon forced a smile at the younger, but his response was the polar opposite of what he was thinking at the time.
when he confidently stated before that he would helped soonyoung, he knew the blonde would be perplexed as to why he hadn't shown today or why he had missed work.
"are you sure?" chan asked one final time as jihoon nodded his head, saying with a barely audible "yes."
"let's not talk about my job," jihoon says, shifting the conversation's focus.
"you should take care of yourself, chan, i'm not here 24 hours a day to look after you, so please, look after yourself better, understand?" jihoon reminded, earning a nod and a meek 'i will' from the youngster.
"i'm glad to hear that," jihoon says, a slight smile on his face.

okay, this is a bit random, but i'm not sure where this is heading.i was anticipating a case of writer's block, as i normally do at this time of the year, but i didn't anticipate it being as bad as it was.
sorry for the brief and late update, but i'll do my best to keep this rolling, sweeties.
it is strongly suggested that you vote, follow, and comment.
while i'm at it, i'll also mention that i'm working on a NCT fan fiction while I'm at it.
it'll most likely be a johnten, luwoo, or yuwin ship, because why not? they're cute and i'm completely smitten with them.
