"didn't he tell that to you?" the stranger asked.

jihoon couldn't help himself but get mixed emotion from what he's currently hearing.

he wish he had never been born.

and if by chance, his birth turns to be inevitable, he would have rather choose to be deaf or blind.

the newly acquired information is overwhelming that the doctor could barely shook his head no.

he knew that he had thought of things going this way but never did he imagine that it will come to him this soon.

it was suffocating.

the truth was too much that all he could ever do was regret trying to found out about the past and the mysteries surrounding his identity.

"mingyu's older brother, minseo, happened to be the first one to know what your father did but he's chosen to keep quiet about it." he stated."he tried keeping it a secret from the others, all because he knows how important you are to that one person. i mean, you're kind of important to that one certain friend, that's why." he lets out a breathy chuckle, giving an emphasize to the word our.

"i bet you know who i'm referring to." he continued.

and he knew for sure it was soonyoung that he's talking about.

"but jiwon somehow ended up knowing the truth and guess what? he tried killing your dad and managed to have few of the guys to help him but minseo stopped him." said the guy."and so, he killed the guy out of anger and that's when the group starts to fall apart."

he felt his heart sink right after hearing the word kill from the mouth of the stranger.

he always knew that something is up and that his mother is keeping something from him ever since.

he was so sure that his father didn't just die because of natural causes and that he was murdered but he did not know who would do such thing to his beloved father, his one and only hero, his everything.

"but it didn't stop jiwon from wanting to kill your father, did you know what he did?" he could not bother to wait for the doctor to reply before cocking the gun once again, aiming fot the nearest wall among them .

and slowly, he once again, pull the trigger as the loud and defeaning sound of the gun echoed throughout the place, immediately sending the said doctor in the verge of a mental breakdown, tears threatening to build up in his eyes.

"p-please stop." jihoon stuttered, his legs trembling as he almost lost his balance but he fortunately managed to hold on.

"that's what exactly happened during that day." replied the stranger.

"he tried killing your father with the other guys but the young them was not much of a skilled sniper nor a great shooter, they just couldn't shot the old man down and kept on missing miserably." said the latter.

"i was there that day too, doctor lee." the guy whispered right next to his ears.

and as if the deities enjoyed torturing the small doctor that much, as if on cue, a cold breeze passed through his nape, sending his body into a cold state soon after."and so, afraid of having to witness several friends become a murderer themselves, i killed your father with my both and bare hands."

jihoon felt his body turned extremely cold from what he had heard, just as if his soul had left his earthly physiques. he wasn't so sure if he's imagining things because of the situation that he's in but he heard sadness lacing in the tone of the stranger's voice, as if he didn't want what had happened that day.
