he carefully places down the box and open the envelope.

but instead of seeing a letter that he's expecting to, he saw something else and they're all polaroid pictures of a certain someone.

and all were him.

his heart leaped a beat when he realized that they're all taken recently.

the one is during his graduation, the other was the day he dyed his hair blonde, and so on.

the most recent one was yesterday.

it was when he went to hangang river to have a short break from all the hospital works and yes, he couldn't blink an eye right now. how could he?

was someone stalking him? he could not think of anything but this.

should he report it right away to the police immediately?

he was contemplating for an unknown reason but everything were interrupted when his phone rings loudy.

with a little shaky hands, he pick his phone up and slide it open, only to be welcomed by a text message coming from an unregistered contact.

"just who—" he mumbled to himself.

he click the message open.

I wasn't expecting you to be
a surgeon, yeah?

did you enjoy my little present
for you, doctor lee?

his eyes widened in surprise and his heart had missed so many beats that he could not possibly keep count of it.

just who exactly is the sender of this thing.

before he could even manage to do something, a new message popped up from his notification.

looking so surprise, eh?

why? don't like my present?

it took me a lot of effort to take
it without your men noticing.

the doctor's eyebrows furrowed by what the sender of the message had said.

whoever send this message to him is probably somewhere up above, near where he is right now and can see him perfectly from some place.

maybe somewhere above? he thought to himself before looking around at those tall building near his.

a publishing company.

a mall.

an apartment complex.

an amusement park.

a super market.

a hotel resort.

a condominium

and a penthouse.

although the last one wasn't that near and despite being up there, it wouldn't be that easy to see him clearly.

just where exactly is that guy standing at right now? he thought to himself, cold sweats falling from his forehead.

his heart could hardly keep it's rhythm.

and  he'd definitely swear to anyone that he cannot be mistaken that he had felt this kind of feeling before but couldn't tell what exactly the feeling is.

before he could even type down a reply, a message popped up from that same unregistered contact.

why? are you perhaps
scared?

Jihoon could hardly blink, no— he can't blink at all.

gulping down, he held on his smartphone tightly before typing down a brave reply.

who the hell are you?
and are you the one who took
pictures of me? why? and how did
you get my number?

he anxiously waited for the other person to reply as soon as he click the send button and he was not expecting that mysterious guy to be an active person who would reply in less than a second.

well, maybe, half of him expected to receive a reply in less than a second to fill in his curiosity.

shouldn't you be contacting
the police instead of replying
to me?

you just received a message
from a new contact, along a box
full of polaroid pictures and all
were you.

he swear that if it's Jiwon, then he's dead for sure.

he would definitely jump from his office without any second thought than to have that psycho mess his life like what it did before.
