the explosion was extremely loud, and smoke almost filled the entire space.

since the entire asylum was engulfed in large flames, it would be extremely difficult for anyone to escape the asylum safely and alive.

even the entrance had collapse too, so does the pillar of the said building.

not only did the said building's entrance collapse, but so did several of the pillars that supported it.

it appears as though a more dangerous peril has struck.

a rescuer hastily inquired, "is anyone injured?", hoping to save one more.

the crowd looked at the flaming building in front of them and all shook their heads.

some were afraid, while others were on the point of bawling profusely for the loved ones they had left behind in the blazing inferno.

"Hansol." called a familiar police officer to the foreign looking police men.

it was Shin Hoseok.

the man who helped the lavender haired Jihoon with his case.

the young man responded, "did you call for me, sir?"

acting out the height of the said doctor with, Officer Shin asked, "have you seen a doctor, around this tall."

"he kind of has a very fair complexion and has lavender hair." he went on.

Hansol's eyes grew wide.

"if you were referring to that lavender haired doctor and his friend, i've seen the three of them inside the asylum earlier but unfortunately, i haven't seen them outside, yet." the foreigner looking officers responded.

his gaze was aimlessly scanning the area, searching for the trio.

a sudden thought struck him, and all he could do was mutter a curse under his breath.

what if they haven't gotten out yet. the young foreign looking officer thought to himself.

Hoseok asked, "haven't seen them yet?" the other person nodded in response.

"are you certain that you saw them inside the asylum?" he added.

the other nodded and said, "i am certain."

Hoseok continued, "when did you last see them?"

"i couldn't remember exactly when but it was a few minutes before the explosion." he responded.

"perhaps they have managed to escape the asylum," Hoseok murmured to himself.

he nodded at the other and said, "i'll be going then, thank you for your time."

the previously mentioned cop headed straight towards the medical teams transporting injured patients to the ambulance, and some individuals were likely dead and shrouded in white blankets.

Hoseok said to a medical aide, "excuse me."

when the said officer arrived at the man's track, he and his partner halted. "yes, sir?" the man in question asked.

"did this person, perhaps, came from inside the asylum?"

the rescuers replied, "yes, sir," nodding in agreement.

"can i perhaps, take a peak at this person's face?" inquired the said officer.

with his badge shown, he immediately declared, "i'm a police officer and as you can see, i'm searching for a certain someone."

he was referring to the individual who is lifelessly laying on a stretcher, draped in thin white blankets.

either the individual in question is dead or they are deadly injured and is unconscious.

they gave him permission by nodding.

and he replied "thank you." in return.

for reasons that are obvious, the officer felt nervous. there are only two scenarios that will probably happen.

underneath this thin and white blanket is someone he may or may not recognize.

he extended his hand carefully to grasp the smooth thin blanket.

heaving a deep breath, the officer begins to gradually removed the blanket to disclose the person's identity.

he was fairly scared as well, not realizing that he had been holding his breath for a while.

he was unable to articulate his emotions upon realising that the man on the stretcher was someone who—

"is this the person that you're looking for sir?" asked the rescuer in a polite tone.

the said officer looks at the man's severely burned face yet still recognizable face as he lies in the stretcher.

he turns to face the rescue crews and smiles a little.

And fortunately for him, the cop has never seen the now deceased man who is on the stretcher before.

"no, i didn't know who the guy is, thank you for the time." the officer said before the man and the other rescuers nodded politely and immediately return to what they're doing earlier.

Hoseok move to other place, looking at the face of the survivors of the explosion that the rescuers managed to evacuate but none of them looks familiar to him.
