Robin's POV
I stood up from the bed and was grateful at the lack of an extra presence in the room. Usually, I would be stirred awake by my fiancé's scrabbling about for his phone and the other various gadgets he insisted he takes to work with him. Today he had surprisingly allowed me the gift of an energising lie in. I stepped out of my room and walked down the corridor, my father's room was still dark which was unusual given he was a workaholic, but I let him be, glad he finally took our advice of taking more care of himself.

Passing the rooms of my three brothers, it was more unusual for them to be this quiet. Although after giving it some thought I realised it wasn't entirely impossible. Jason may just be at his own place, Dami was probably training already (like father like son) and Tim was probably passed out from exhaustion because his caffeinated life energy had run out. I sleepily walked down the corridor taking small steps down the stairs before I was startled awake by the smell of burning. As fear arose my power to slow time instinctively kicked in as I picked up the pace and sped down the stairs, skipping a few steps and stumbling a little as I reached the bottom. Running into the kitchen I turned off the oven and quickly placed the burning pan and food into the metal sink. Turning on the cold tap I prepared myself for the bellowing smoke and opened up all the windows. We could clean up later, putting out the fire mattered first.

After my heart rate returned to normal the first person I looked for was Alfred. There was no way Alfred would let breakfast burn. "Alfred! Alfred!?" I called, briskly walking around the rooms on the bottom floor. Now the silence was definitely weird. Because Alfred was always home, he was home. And now he was gone. I dashed upstairs again wiping my smokey hands on my clothes before bursting into my dad's bedroom. "Alfred's gone!" I exclaimed, worried. There was no response, and also no figure sleeping in the bed. I threw open the curtains to double-check the darkness of the room had not tricked me, but it was true. My dad was not here either. Still in a panicked state, I ran back out onto the corridor and checked the rooms of all my brothers. No-one.

This was weird. Even for us. I calmed my breathing down and told myself to relax. Keeping a level head would help. Time to live up to my father's reputation as a detective. I took my phone from the bedside table in Dick's room and made myself a slice of toast before heading down to the cave. I changed into my Twilight Wolf gear and sat in front of the computer, watching security cams and checking last night's footage. Rewatching the videos, I found that the guys were here but as of 8 am this morning everyone disappeared. I noted this and then checked the footage of security cameras in Gotham, checking the same time for similar occurrences.

As I did a news bulletin forced its way onto my screen as the bat computer searched for related information. A news reporter spoke into a screen, a panicked look on her face.

"All the men in the world have disappeared."

Okay, so that's my first problem solved. Now how to fix it.  First thing first was to contact the rest of the girls and organise an emergency meeting at the manor. I messaged Barbara first knowing she could help me contact the others if I needed help, before getting in touch with Steph, Cass and Kate.

I was relieved when a short while later they all turned up at the manor, geared up and their investigative minds already quick at work. "So what theories have we got?" I asked.

"Alien abduction?" Steph suggested.

"Seems a little too out there for this though as there was no extraterrestrial activity picked up anywhere last night," Barbara informed us.

"Magic?" Cass signed to us.

"It would make the most sense, how else would the whole male population just disappear in an instant," Kate agreed.
