Robin's POV
So today was going to be fun, and when I say fun, I mean fun. Dad was taking me to the JL HQ for the first time. I would've gone sooner, but Dad demanded that he give me a suit upgrade, trading my basic costume for something padded out with protective gear, kevlar etc etc. I think he's worried that I might die up there, but I've portalled my way out of space before. I was pretty hyped about going, which I'd tried not to do since it should be a normal thing, but I had no help from Charlie to calm my excitement down; she was going through the DC Comics Wikipedia page and listing all the heroes that were and are members of the Justice League. "I can't believe you're going to meet them all, you have to take pictures for me!" Charlie squealed down the phone. "Chaz it's going to look the same as it does in the comics," I groaned.

"Robin it's time to go, go suit up," my dad told me. I nodded and moved away from the bat computer and over to where all the suits were stood in cases along the cave. Mine was at the end beside my original Robin suit. Considering I was only going to be at JL headquarters I figured I wouldn't need the nifty pair of katanas Damian had given me so I left them at home and opted for the safer ecrisma sticks similar to Dick's. I placed a couple daggers in my pockets, I didn't have batarangs since I wasn't a bat or a bird for that matter, but the daggers seemed fitting for a wolf, I wasn't a killer, but I could still slow people down. "Okay I'm all geared up, let me say bye to Chaz and I'll be ready," I called over to my dad. He nodded and waited for me to say farewell to my friend. "Whatcha think Chaz? Dad did some upgrades for me." I heard Charlie squeal with excitement again."It's amazing! But don't you have to go now?" Charlie asked. I nodded, "yeah, I'll report back later!"

I ran over beside my dad, "so how are we getting there?" I asked. He held up a blindfold, "you're not allowed to see," my dad replied. I frowned, was I really this untrustworthy? Okay so maybe I was a little reckless, my emotional moment stabbing the Joker and all (yes I found out about that, thanks Jason), but surely not bad enough to see the way to the Justice League. "Why can't I see the way Dad?" I asked, a little hurt. "Precautions, don't argue with me on this, it's the blindfold or not going," dad sternly replied. I nodded and let him tie the fabric around my eyes. I then had a funny idea, "hey dad, trust test!" I shouted. I crossed my arms across my chest and leant forward, hoping that my dad would be on the receiving end and not the cold, hard, floor.

I felt his arms wrap around me as he sighed at my childishness. "Stop fooling around Robin," he grumbled. "But I want to have fun with you! I missed so many years with you while I was gone," I whined. "Some other day, I want you on your best behaviour," he replied, treating me like I was 5 again. I slumped my shoulders and nodded, I'd do anything to ensure a visit to the JL HQ. When I was allowed to open my eyes, I was stood in a large open space, my back to a window that revealed the black and glittery nothingness outside. "Woooahh so cool!" I squealed.

Dad smiled at me, his arm around my shoulder. "Welcome to the Justice League Headquarters." Dad began to walk ahead and I followed in pursuit, observing my surroundings with a close eye, hoping to take in every detail. People passed by casually, the stream of heroes walking around made my eyes glitter like the very stars just outside the HQ.

"Watch where you're going," dad spoke as I collided with him. I looked towards him and found that he had stopped beside some others. Opposite my dad was Superman and Wonder Woman and to the right of me there was Martian Manhunter, The Flash and Green Lantern. The heroes were conversing amongst themselves, but stopped when my father arrived. Once they stopped talking all their eyes landed on me and before I knew it, I was in handcuffs. I groaned as I remembered the last time I encountered the Flash. I believe I was robbing a bank with Captain Cold and Heatwave. Dad looked to me momentarily as if to remind me that I did deserve this for helping them rob a bank, but he soon let me out.
