Dick's POV
Robin and I were training together in the gym, practicing our gymnastic skills together like we had done when we younger. Robin had always admired my ability on the trapeze and her constant pleading for me to teach her had finally broke me. I caved and told her I would teach and so here we were, myself stood shouting instructions and Robin hopelessly following them. "So like this?" Robin asked, before comedically slipping onto the safety mat below her. I grinned and shook my head, "not quite like that, but try again," I encouraged. She got back up and tried again. We were using a shorter trapeze whilst Robin was training, but once she had got it nailed down we would move onto the real one.

She grinned as she flew through the air, released the trapeze and then stuck the landing, beaming and relieved that she had landed correctly. "I think I'm finally getting the hang of this now," she quipped, the terrible pun forcing a smile on my face. I shook my head in mock disappointment and stepped up to show her the next trick I wanted to teach her. She watched me with the same innocent amazement that she did when we were kids and I felt my heart flutter as I enjoyed being back on the trapeze, showing off to Robin. "So did you get that?" I asked, landing and moving away to continue hitting the punching bag. She nodded and pushed me away, eager to give the next trick a go.

"Dickiebird, I know that the family at the manor are your family, but does it not hurt knowing that you're the last one, the last Flying Grayson? Of course it does. Ignore me, I'm being stupid," Robin commented as she messed up another landing. I paused in my punching and allowed myself to catch my breath. "Where did this come from Rob?" I asked, curious as to why this was our conversation topic. She landed badly again and stood up shrugging her shoulders. "This place makes me think about you, about your family. I hope I didn't hurt you Dickiebird," she replied. I shook my head and smiled at her, "you couldn't hurt me Little Wing, of course I miss my family, but that was a long time ago. Plus I've got you now," I consoled her. She grinned and got back onto the trapeze. I paused to grab a drink, watching her as she moved through the air.

I watched her hands release the trapeze, she would fail the landing again, she was moving too quickly. Like I predicted she fell onto the crash mat and a faint yelp came from the mat. "Rob, are you okay?" I asked, rushing over to her. She sat up slowly and stepped off the mat. Her weight slipped underneath her as her ankle gave way. "Yikes I think I've sprained it," she moaned sticking her lip out. I knelt down to look at her ankle and lightly felt it, putting pressure on it in certain areas to check if it was broken. "Well you're fine, just rest it a bit. C'mon I'll take you home," I told her. She stood leaning on me and attempted to wrap her arm around my shoulder. "Damn it Dick you're too tall," she complained. I grinned and swept her up in my arms, carrying her bridal style. "How about now, does it feel any better?" I asked, gazing down into her warm eyes. She gave me and light peck on the lips before moving her head against my shoulder, "my hero," she chirped. I laughed and took her to the car waiting for us outside.

We were ambushed with paparazzi upon leaving the gym, so in the 15 seconds from the entrance of the gym to the car there were multiple flashes and a couple reporters shouting questions. I ignored them and placed Robin down in the car before getting in beside her. "Take us home Al, she's only gone and overdone it again," I commented. Alfred sighed and Robin held up her hands in defence. "How many times Miss Robin, you must be more careful," Alfred warned. She glared at me the evils for telling on her, before putting back on a sweet facade and told Alfred she would. We all knew she was lying. Alike Bruce and Damian they all tried too hard.

It was funny to watch Robin like this. This was the Twilight Wolf at her finest. It was funny because Robin had gained a reputation as the Wolf for all sorts of things, things that made her scary to villains and heroes alike. Her brawl with Jason - and the fact she decked him too - gained her rep as a violent criminal, along with her previous partnership with Captain Cold and Heatwave. But her association with the Batman and with myself as my girlfriend (we were caught kissing in a rooftop by Catwoman) made her feared by villains even more so. People were always unsure whether to fear her or ask for her help, but one thing for sure was that she had certainly gained the attention of everyone. The media and the people were constantly debating about her morals and whether she was a hero or just a morally superior super villain because she didn't kill people.
