It was cold and dark. I ran trying to find Claire or Leon.

I wasn't alone. I hid in a locker as I watched the Licker walk by. I had my gun steady. Claire taught me how to use it.

Leon and I were in the police station, Claire was separated from us because of the explosion the truck had caused.

I no longer heard the licker close by, so I carefully opened the locker, and walked out the door. I walked into something and then looked to see that it was Leon. I gasped and hugged him, he didn't push me away. He hugged me back.

"Leon... There was a-" we hear the licker and Leon pulls me down the corridor. We slip into another room that has a S.T.A.R.S chest. I look at the name on it.

I let a tear fall, Claire and I came to Raccoon to find him...

"Y/n, we'll find him I promise okay? I've got everything we need to get though the secret passage, I just have to place them and then we'll find him and Claire. I promise.

I promise

Promise...

"Y/N! Wake up!" I look up to see we were in the police car in Spain.

"Sorry Leon..."

"It's okay but let's get going, we need to find Ashley."

"Got it," I get out of the car with Leon and he immediately gets a call. I ignore mine because I know Leon will tell me, so I walk on. I open the door and Leon tells me to wait outside. I sigh and head back to the car. I stand by a tree, waiting for Leon until I hear a shot go off. I see him peek out the window when I hear someone driving. And he's driving right towards the car.

I run to the car and alert the cops and they start shooting, as do I. But it hits the car and I fall backwards. Both men are being taken away and the bridge is taken out.  I walk backwards as the men grab my gun.

I fall back, I hear Leon calling my name. But it's too late. I fall backwards, missing the jagged rocks and am tossed side to side.

I go under the water at some points, the river pull was so strong. I couldn't fight it so I let it take control. I was getting dizzy. It finally started to slow down, I swam to the dock and made my way up the hill.

I get a call and answer right away.

"Y/n? It's Hunnigan. Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm good. How's Leon holding up? I just had the best ride of my life and he missed out."

I can hear her chuckle.

"That's goo, and he sounded worried. After all maybe he likes you the way you like him.  And he would have been there if he could. I've given him your coordinates so stay put. It might take him awhile to get to where you are so just stay calm. After all, it is your first field mission."

"Yeah... And already lost." I mutter.

"Leon will find you, he counts on it. Maybe you should tell him how you feel Y/n..."

"I will... And if something does happen... Tell him for me alright?"

"Y/n-"

"Hunnigan."

"I'll do it. Your like a daughter to me. And Chris and Claire say hi. I haven't told them what happened yet."

"Probably for the best. Chris will freak out. Being his little sister and all..."

"Yeah, I need to go find more info on the Los Illuminados... Do you have any?"

"Yeah I've heard of them before, they're a cultist group that is concerned on governing the world. They hate the americans. They also, I saw this just recently before we got here that they were mining something. It could be another virus or something but it was something sketchy."

"Hmm... Leon had said that the villagers were acting quite strange and the weird door in the village with their symbol. They must be doing something I'll try to figure out more and let you and Leon know okay?"

"Okay thank you Hunnigan and be careful, there might be more than one rat in the agency."

"Okay, I'll take that into account. Be careful to you too and don't die on me, can't have the second best agent die on me this early."

"Second? Who's the first?" I joke.

She chuckles and then the line goes dead. I gather up sticks for a fire and check my lighter if it still works.

Surprisingly it does and I get the fire going. I look around and find a spare set of clothing similar to mine and I change. Perfect, the clothes fit just right. I check my grenades and my herbs, they didn't get damaged in the fall or the river. I sigh, my gun was lost but I have my ammo. I sit by the fire as the day slowly slips to night.

I can hear something in the distance, I don't go to check it out. I hear it coming closer and I see Leon.

And let's just say he looks like crap... But he still looks hot.

His hair is messy and just the way he's looking at me..

His smile was just the most perfect thing there ever was.

"Leon... You found me."

"I did... I did." I don't move, he advances towards me and pulls me into him, his lips crashing on mine, my arms slip around his neck. I have to pull away. " Don't you ever ever ever do that to me again Y/n... I thought I lost you... I can't lose you... You mean too much-"

"Leon, you're not going to lose me. I'm right here and I always will be-"

"I love you... God I love you," his face going in the crook of my neck. 

"I love you too Leon... I love you too."
