22. Back to You( Part two of Only way out)

I stay out of sight, the agency was looking for clues... Specifically Leon... I can't let him know I'm alive. I thought the collapsed building would have killed me but I was wrong. I managed to control it, the virus I had injected... Whether there was a cure... I'm not sure. 

I watched him and a female within the campus... She's the one with the sister... I have to help them they won't make it in time I have to get to Deborah. I make my way to the church, avoiding the zombies to be safe. The place was a nightmare. 

Op.error. Recalibrating.

I shake my head, they're trying to take over... I can't let them win. 

I will burn Umbrella to the ground. 

No matter what, even if it does kill me.

I make my way to the church, breaking in. Hoping that no one sees me, I head into the depths of the church. Where everything in this town began. Deep below, I make my way further and further. To stumble into someone I hadn't hoped to see. He was the reason Leon and I were almost killed in action... He planned this to kill the president... 

He was a traitor. 

"Well well well.... If it isn't the project known as NE-T 16. Y/n L/n." I don't understand... what does he mean by project?

"What have you done Simmons?" 

"Why would I tell you my plans? They don't matter. I knew you'd do this to yourself... To protect a certain someone." He smirk pains me. He knew I'd do anything to save Leon. 

" I was hoping you wouldn't have had a hard time getting associated to the virus like the others but your fighting it... Now I see why your fighting it... You don't want to feel like a monster... But let the virus control you... Let us control you... Do not fear-" 

"You did this... This was all set up wasn't it? You made sure I would inject myself with the NE-T virus. Then you knew I would have survived the building collapse... You knew I'd keep an eye on Leon to make sure he was okay and that he survived..." 

"Yes apart of my all elaborate plan to make you my little pet." He turns to me. 

"I will never be your pet." 

"Oh on quite the contrary dear... You will be, this time you won't get away." two men grab my arms however I whip them into the walls. Simmons takes a step back. 

"You will never control me. I will burn you all."  Simmons backs up into the wall. Hearing my voice change when I spoke scared him. He runs, but I can hear him... I know where he is... And where he's going. I race after him, my anger consuming me. I follow him until they find me and they knock me out... Or at least they thought they did. I kill them off, seeing Deborah in the middle of this cave. I go to walk over to her, but I hear them. I turn, seeing Leon... The other woman by his side. Leon lowers his gun, and expression of relief. I drop to my knees. I haven't seen him look at me in so long... I crawl away from him. But he calls out my name... 

"Y/n." the sound of his voice was long forgotten... I missed it so much... But I can't even be with him now. I ruined any chance I had with this virus. He walks over to me while the girl goes to Deborah. 

"I thought I lost you," Leon murmurs. His hand touching the side of my face. I can feel myself changing back at his touch. When I look over myself when the change is over... I look human again... I've fully controlled it. 

"Y/n... Why are you here? I thought you were dead?" 

" After the building fell... I got out... I followed you, helping out if I could but I stayed out of sight... I didn't want you to see me like this." 

"You do realize..." he takes my hand in his. " I'll always love you the way you are." I look into those beautiful eyes of his... 

"You... You love me?" I know I sound stupid as it leaves my lips but I just can't grasp that he loves me... I just can't. 

"Of course... I always have, I always will." I can't speak... I pull him closer so that are lips touch. His kiss is soft and gentle...We pull away after a few seconds. A smile on both of our faces. 

"Let's go lovebirds." 

~Time Skip~

In front of us stood Simmons. He was morphing into some sort of scorpion looking creature. I looked to Leon knowing full well that we had  to use the virus to defeat him. I was the only one who could control the virus within me. I change into the final form, standing in front of Leon. 

I signal for Simmons to come fight me, it aggravates him. Good... He's gonna find out that he shouldn't have messed with me, or anyone. 

I dodge his swipe with the tail, grabbing it and yanking him. I use him like a lasso and throw him into the wall. Leon and Helena shooting him while he struggles to get up. I walk towards him, but this time Simmons impales me with the tail. I groan as I pull it out. Yanking it and it falls off. Simmons glances at Leon then to me. He makes a move to grab Leon but I tackle Simmons before he is able to touch Leon. I rip him off the ground. Slowly pulling the body into two separate pieces. Simmons makes strangled noises. Stabbing me over and over again. 

I use all my strength to pull him apart. And finally it pays off. I throw his bottom half away so I can rip his head off. But what I didn't realize was that the tail had re-attach to the lower half. I struck threw me again. Blood of mine everywhere. In one final pull I pull Simmons head from his body. I throw it to the ground and step on it. Blood and brains everywhere... But the dizziness takes over. I fall losing my vision... I was loosing too much blood. 

Leon raced to me once I changed back, pulling me close to him. I saw the helicopter above us. Soon we were loaded into it. Leon tried to stop the bleeding. Chris was there too. 

"We are gonna get to headquarters, hopefully she'll make it to then." Chris looked like he was about to cry. 

"Don't don't you dare leave me again Y/n. You hear me? Don't you dare." Leon cries. 

"I told you I'd always be with you Leon." I can feel it starting to heal. 

"Just don't die on me..." 

"I won't, I'll be here as long as you need me..." 

We finally get to the headquarters and they try to find a cure for me... But there was no luck. Maybe in time they'll find a cure, for now they keep me in the BSAA headquarters... Leon stays with me. The only time he's gone is for missions. 

But at least we are together, and hopefully we won't be separated again.
