8 (part two)

A comment on the previous part of 8 got me thinking of the second part to it so here it is

Y/n's POV

I could hear their voices, anger was present in the conversation.

I couldn't open my eyes, the last thing I remember... was the darkness. I had fallen on the stairs, which lead to this.

I remember what my boyfriend had done. I could hear his voice now, arguing with Leon.

I wanted to hug Leon, he'd hold me. Protect me from anything. I could hear the sadness in his voice, he was near tears.

If anything, it was my fault he was hurt.

I could hear the beeping as I slowly slipped away. I felt his touch, I wanted to hold his hand in mine before I died.

I was heartbroken. I wanted to forget... But that's the thing, if I forgot about the situation... I'd forget Leon. I couldn't bear with the thought of hurting him like that.

I had to wake up. I had to...

For him.

"Y/n! wake up please wake up!" Leon says. I wanted to reply but I couldn't, I had no strength.

"Please Y/n!" (Ex bf) cried. They both hated each other, but they still wanted me alive. Even after he had cheated on me.

I could feel the rush to get me into another room. Leon's grip tightened. Sparking life into me as the beeping slowly stopped as my heart reached it's normal state once more.

Get up.

The fire within started to burn, gave me energy.

I could feel it... I wanted my life back.

Don't let go.

I could never let him go. I had to fight... For him.

"Y/N!!!"

Keep pushing.

I tried. I tried so hard to open my eyes, keep them from closing forever.

Don't lose him.

I won't, I can't lose him... No matter what.

Don't forget.

I finally pushed one last time and they opened. Bright light shines through my eyes. Leon's face is the first thing I see.

"L-Leon?"

"Y/n... Your awake?"

"Oh Y/n I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have cheated. I'm such a fool."

"Damn right about that asshole." Leon replies. Holding my hand still. I glance down to our entwined hands. I hold tighter as Leon looks to me.

"Y/n baby please come home... Please."

"No." I look to (Ex bf) "It's over."

"Baby please give me another chance. I promise I won't do it again."

"She said it's over now leave her alone." Leon says.

"I love you, Y/n please..."

"I don't love you... I thought you made me breathless... You suffocated me." I say. Leon looks to me in shock. "I love him." I say looking to Leon.

"I loved you more than anything Y/n." Leon replies, placing a kiss onto my lips. I kiss back, as my heart rate speeds up a little.

"Good thing you chose me, I already moved your stuff out of his house." Leon admits.

"How long was I out?"

He doesn't reply.

"Leon?"

"You were out... For six months."

"Shit."

"What?"

"That's how long I made you worried for?"

"You always worried me. Just not like that before," He places another kiss to my lips as (Ex bf) stomps out of the room.

Leon stayed with me until they let me out.

And we lived happily ever after... Sorta.

Zombies really weren't a happy topic...
