Jade's POV

"Baby, are you okay?" Zayn asked me as he placed his right hand onto my left knee.

"Mhmm, I am fine." I replied quickly. I was just a little nervous to be back in my home town. I  had flown with Zayn and Emily multiple times to Holmes since I had gotten with Zayn but it never got any easier. I would always end up feeling nervous and anxious to go back to the States.

"Baby, are you being honest?" Zayn asked softly. "I'm not angry or anything, I just want to know what is bothering you?"

"Bro, she said she is fine. Can you please fucking drop it?" Emily snapped from the back seat of Natasha's car. Zayn's Aunt Natasha, had met us at the airport when we landed and and allowed us to use her vehicle during our stay in Holmes.  Natasha had drove all the way from Bradford to London, with Zayn's Uncle driving behind her just so we could have a vehicle to get around.

Natasha was a saint, really. I knew from the moment that I had met her that she was a wonderful woman. Zayn's Uncle was the same way, they were both so bubbly and spontaneous. They reminded me so much of my parents. Since Zayn's Mum had passed away, Natasha and Robert had been helping to raise Zayn's two youngest sisters, since neither Doniya nor Zayn could handle it. Doniya was married and lived in London with a child of her own so she couldn't take care of her sisters and Zayn was in college and he couldn't drop out, so the responsibility was handed to their Aunt and Uncle.

Two months into our relationship, Zayn told me that he wanted me to meet his Aunt, Uncle and sisters. So Zayn bought us tickets and we flew to London. Zayn's eldest sister, Doniya, had been waiting for us at the airport and drove us to Bradford. The minute that we had drove into the driveway of their home and parked the vehicle, Natasha came running out of her home with a flower print apron tied around her hips. Natasha ran to the side of the vehicle that I had been sitting in, opened the door and engulfed me in a hug while planting multiple kisses on my cheek.

That week had been absolutely wonderful. Zayn's Aunt, Uncle and sisters had all been so accepting of me. They said that they didn't care that I was atheist, they didn't care about my past. They were so welcoming and at the end of the week, they were sad to see us go and I was as well.

" Emily, there's no need to be rude." Zayn sighed.

" Yeah, there is." Emily replied with an aggressive tone. " You're being annoying, and you obviously don't really know Juliet as much as you think you do."

" Excuse me?" Zayn growled. " I know my bird."

" Obviously not. Because if you did, then you'd know that Juliet always acts this way when she's in Holmes Chapel. She loathes this town." Emily screamed.

" I-I know that." Zayn stuttered. " I just thought that she had gotten over her hatred for this town."

" Guy, S-." I tried to intersect but Emily interrupted me.

" Gotten over it?" Emily scoffed. " A person just doesn't get over something that hurt them, I'd think you'd know that since you're a wannabe doctor and a psychology major. Jade endured a hell of a lot here, hell I doubt she will ever get over it, you imbecile. So instead of being a nosey jackass, why don't you pay attention. "

Since Emily met Zayn, she never liked him. She always made sure to show her hatred towards him, either in being snappy with him or talking behind his back. Emily would not tell  me the exact reason why she detested him, but what she would me is that she had her reasons. " You're so arrogant! " Zayn hissed.
