Jade's POV
In the following days that passed, nothing seemed to matter. Everyone around me seemed to dissolve into a routine, myself included. I had Harry back in my life, and on top of that I had something severely important that I needed to deal with. Something that I had kept hidden from Harry, from Emily and from my brother. Something that I knew would change everything in the matter of months, and would continue to change everything for the rest of my life.
It was hard to try and stay strong when everything was falling down around me. It seemed like it would never get better but in the nights that followed Dylan's departure, Harry seemed to swoop in and make everything better. With that, I was forever grateful for him.
I was not planning on ever getting back with him. Sex was my main goal and that seemed like all it was going to be with Harry and I. He refused to have sex with me whilst I was intoxicated or high instead I noticed changes in him and some were perfect, whilst others were completely horrible. All in all, I had him back and that was all that mattered.
I watched everyone grow. Liam and Jamie had gotten back together. Emily and Damian were doing well even though she was battling her disorder. Harry and I were happier than ever. I no longer needed the drugs, the alcohol, the mindless sex, all I needed was Harry and all Harry needed was me. I never felt more content in my life.
I was amazed at how we managed to grow together and then grow apart and vice versa. Nonetheless, this was who we were. We both were never going to be perfect, there was no need to try to fix something that was not going to be repaired as easily as with some super glue or some kind of tape, we had to fix ourselves.
And with that, we knew that we would no matter what.
