Damian's POV
" H-Hey mate." Harry slurred from his spot on the couch. " Wh-Where ya' been?"
" I went to my classes. " I replied as I sat down beside him. " Damn Harry, you stink."
" Haven't showered since yesterday. " Harry laughed. " It's the manly man smell!"
" You're plastered. " I sighed. " C'mon you need to sleep it off."
" No!" Harry protested. " 'Wanna stay awake. I don't see J-Jade this way."
" You see her in your dreams?" I frowned.
Every since Harry arrived from the U.K, he had been doing nothing but binge drinking. Beer, vodka, whiskey, whatever he could get his hands on, really. And since he arrived, he had spent his days sitting on the couch with a bottle in his hands or bent over the toilet. I had tried to take the alcohol from him but he just snapped every time that I tried.
What Harry was experiencing was the same thing that Juliet went through, numbing their misery in alcohol. What I couldn't stand was that if Juliet hated how she felt, why would she try to make someone else feel the pain that she went through? Harry loved Juliet, possibly more than she loved him. I used to believe that Harry was the cold hearted one, but obviously I had been wrong.
" She's always in my dreams." Harry finally replied. " With her beautiful, f*cking face."
" C'mon, buddy." I said as I stood up from the couch. " You need to sleep, and I need to get ready for my date."
Harry looked up at me with widened eyes. " Date?"
" Yeah." I nodded. " With Emily Browning. "
" Emily 's a darling. " Harry murmured as he slowly stood up from the couch.
Drunkenly Harry walked through the house, stumbling forward with each and every step that he took. " Your hair, it's everywhere. " He drunkenly begun to sing the same 'Dashboard Confessional' song that he had been singing since he arrived home . " S-screaming in-fidel-ities. And taking it's wear.!"
It hurt me to see Harry in the state that he was in, and all because of a girl. I truly doubted that Harry and Juliet would ever get back together, they both were too broken for each other. They both had damaged each other so severely, broken each others trust multiple times.
" C'mon." I encouraged Harry as I pulled back the duvet. " You need your rest."
Harry stumbled into bed and I covered him up with the duvet. " I'm going to have a quick shower, call me if you need me." I told him.
" Mhmm. " He mumbled into his pillows.
I sighed and walked out of the room. The entire flat smelled like liquor, the air felt thick and it was all because of Juliet. All because of that wretched girl.
-I stood in front of Emily's house for at least five minutes before Juliet finally opened up the door. When her eyes met mine she automatically frowned. " Hi." Juliet said softly. " Emily will be ready in a minute. Would you like to come in?"
" Yeah." I replied.
Juliet opened the door fully so that I could enter, in which I did and Juliet shut the door behind me. " Have a seat." Juliet suggested.
