Chapter 16

{Taylor}

I wake up suddenly, and look around.

Where am I? I’ve never seen this place before.

I can feel myself moving up and down because of someone’s breathing.

I feel my arms wrapped around a strong body. Whoever I’m with... he’s shirtless.

Then, I remember.

Logan.

I’m lying over his heart, with my left arm wrapped around his stomach. His left arm is around me, and I can feel myself move up and down from his steady breathing.

I remember last night.

The kissing, the connections, the feeling of being together as one.

It was perfect.

Logan was perfect. So nice, and simple. It was a memory that I will cherish forever.

It was my first time. But, Logan made it so much easier for me. He was great.

I drift back off to sleep with the beat of Logan’s heart as a relaxing tempo.

Once again, I wake up. I glance at the clock. 10:30. The clock says the date too, and it reads Sunday, May 18. I look up at Logan, who is already awake.

“Hey baby.” Logan says, looking down at me.

“Hey,” I say, smiling. “What a night.” Logan winks. “I’ll say.” I laugh.

I never knew that’s what sex felt like. But thanks to Logan, now I do.

And he made it so nice and simple. So flawless.

I change into casual clothes before leaving my room.

Right then, I hear my phone go off. I look at it, and see that Jessica has texted me. I roll my eyes, and read the message.

“Hi Taylor. Just wondering if you wanted to hang out today. I think we need to talk.”

I groan before replying.

“Sorry Jessica, I’m in Vancouver with Logan meeting his parents and family, so I can’t. Sorry for the short notice. I’m having a great time, so I’ll talk to you later. Bye.”

I hit send, and then creep out of my room towards the kitchen.

Dave and Kathleen are sitting outside this time, eating their breakfast together.

Logan and I had to be really careful that they didn’t see us coming out of the same room.

Logan had snuck upstairs to his room about twenty minutes before me to make it seem like we hadn’t slept together last night.

We had to keep this a secret from them.

“Good morning Taylor!” Kathleen smiles, from out on the back patio.

“Morning!” I say, happily.

Once again, Kathleen offers me breakfast, which was absolutely delicious. Shortly after I finished, Logan came down the stairs.

He had showered, and had changed.

I look at him and smile. He winks back.

“Morning Mom and Dad!” Logan says. “Morning sweetie.” Kathleen says. “Morning son!” Dave says.
