"This is plan?
We're gonna hit him with a brick?", Rocket asks.
"It's a mold, a king's weapon.
Meant to be the greatest in Asgard.
In theory, it could even summon the Bifrost", Eitri answers.
I just look at him curios.
"Did it have a name?", Thor asks as curios as I am.

"Stormbreaker", he says with a glorious voice.
"That's a bit much", Rocket says, I just start laughing.
"So how do we make it?", Thor looks at Eitri questioningly.
"You'll have to restart the forge.
Awaken the heart of a dying star", he says. I like how they talk, this middle age type.
"Rabbit, fire up the pod", Thor says, ready to get it done.
"

I don't think you get the scientifics here. These rings are gigantic.
You wanna get them moving, you're gonna need something a lot bigger to yank 'em loose", Rocket says skeptical.

"Leave that to me", Thor says smiling.
"Leave that to you?
Buddy, you're in space.
All you got is a rope and a-", he can't finish his sentence, because Thor starts to swing the pod around him in a circle.

Rocket screams. Thor builds up speed, then slacks his grip enough to send the pod shooting straight away from Nidavellir, trailing him behind it like a kite tail.
"Fire the engines!", Thor yells.
Time goes by.
"MORE... POWER... RABBIT!", he shouts.

Finally it works.

"Well done, boy!
That's Nivadellir!", he says pointing at the core.
But suddenly something goes wrong and it shuts down again.
"Damn it".
"Damn it? What's 'damn it'?", I ask confused.
"The mechanism is crippled", he answers.
T

hor just looks at him,
"What?", he asks.
"With the iris closed I can't heat the metal".

"How long will it take to heat?", Thor asks.
"A few minutes, maybe more.
Why?", Eitri asks.

"I'm gonna hold it open", Thors looks at us.
"That's suicide!", I interrupt them.
"So is facing Thanos without that axe", he says looking at me. Then he leaps from the pod to the star's iris.

"You understand, boy?
You're about to take the full force of a star.
It'll kill you", Eitri says to Thor.
"Only if I die", he answers, breathing deeply. We all look at him perplexed.

"Yes. That's what... "killing you" means", Eitri says boggled.
Now he starts to open the iris.

Seconds, then minutes go by.

"Hold it! Hold it, Thor!", Eitri shouts.
He watches the metal ingots melt. Finally, Eitri is able to pour the metal into the mold, right after that Thor passes out and falls down.

Rocket is now  kneeling over Thor,
"Thor! Say something.
Come on. Thor, you okay?"
What kind of stupid question.
He almost got grilled.

Eitri pulls the still glowing mold onto the floor, breaking it loose from its frame, then starts punching the mold  with his metal fists to free the axe.
"I think he's dying!", rocket says, as I kneel down next to him.
"He needs the axe! Where's the handle? Tree, help me find the handle!", Eitri yells and searches for the handle.
The two pieces of the weapon lay on the ground. Groot looks sadly at Thor, then then puts the pieces together. He raises it above his head, and with a mighty cry, chops his extended arm with his other hand to sever it at the right length.Thor's fingers twitch, and the new weapon levitates in a crackle of lightning echoed by the sparks between Thor's fingers.

Like a magnet, it flies to him. Now he conjures up the Bifrost, to bring us to the earth.
