He sits there and starts to smile when he sees me. He looks almost exactly as I remembered him. But now a bit taller and the hair is shorter than before.
Slowly he gets up and walks towards me. I can't help but stand still and wait until he stands in front of me.
For a moment we just look at each other. I don't know what to say. He seems to feel the same way.

"Hello Amanda", I suddenly hear him saying and have to smile briefly. Listening to his voice again after all the time is great. Even if it's deeper than it used to be before.
Well he's almost 22.

"Hey Blake", I say a little bit nervous. It feels like he's an acquaintance and a stranger at the same time. Even if he still looks like the Blake I've known, he's certainly not who he used to be.
He smiles awkwardly and asks me to sit down with him on the bench.
"And how are you?", he asks after a while.
"Well, actually I'm fine, thanks", I say and he nods. Whether he has already heard what happened?
"And how are you?
What are you doing now?", I ask back now.
"I'm good, I often go on missions, that's usually really exciting", he says with a smile. It's the same smile that I always saw when he talked about superheroes.
"Why are you here?", I ask and look at him.
"Well of course I missed my little sister", he pauses again, the smile disappears,
"And ... Tony sent me to persuade you to go back to headquarters."

Stunned, I look at him.
That can't be true!
Tony dares to use my brother for that. I can't believe it.
Am I just another job?
Would Blake have ever come up with the idea of visiting me and Grandma in his own will or is the agent's existence more important for him?

Without saying anything, I get up and walk towards the exit, but I hear that he follows me.
"Amanda, please wait. It's the right thing to go back, for your and everyone's safety".
Seriously?
"Since when do you know what's right?", I ask harshly and look at him angrily. He's scared for a moment.

My eyes seem to glow again. I close them quickly and try to calm down. I have to get that under control.

It seems like he don't know an answer, so I continue my way.
I look back for a moment,
"If Tony's trying to get me as a recruit, you can tell him he can forget that. I know which side I want to fight on and that won't change", I say, leaving him there.

After a while I feel tears on my cheeks. I try to hold them back and go on. I take the subway to Forest Hills and walk the rest of the way. In public, I still have to behave normally.

Just before I reach the entrance to the house, Peter and Ned meet me with a lot of snacks.
"Hey Amanda, what's up?
Did something happen?", Peter asks. They both look at me a little bit confused. Probably because they never saw me crying before.

I just shake my head,
"Everything is fine", I say, forcing me to smile. I'm certainly not going to tell them about my brother now.
"Don't you want to come with us?
A controller is still free", Ned says.
Actually, I don't feel that good, but it could get me to think about other stuff.
So I agree and follow the two of them.

Arrived at Ned's home, the two immediately start playing. I'll watch them first.

In the first round Ned's the winner.
Now I join in too. I feel better with every next round.

As I hoped, the rest of the day is quite nice. We laugh a lot and talk. It always seems like they're asking me about this afternoon. But they don't do it. Luckily.

Late in the evening, dinner is just over, I suddenly see a message from Peter on my phone.

I put the phone away and go to sleep shortly afterwards. That was a nerve-racking day.a
