I run through the woods, they're still after me. Like cat and mouse, they chase me through the cool night. I can't say if my pursuers are from Hydra or from Shield, I'm not interested in that either. I'm just trying to get rid of them. I don't want to get recruited by Hydra. After what they did to my parents.

~ Flashback ~
12/06/2012

I see my 10 year old me sitting in my old room and playing with horses.
I'm just 11 years old. It is quiet.
Suddenly I hear a loud noise. I want to go out into the hall, but my brother runs to me and pushes me back into the room.
"Blake, what's happening?", I ask.
"Please be quiet", he says in a commands. The whole house starts shaking as if an earthquake is raging.
"Hide!", he says. My heart beats like crazy, what's going on here?
Now I hear screams from somewhere, I recognize their voices, my parents. I cover my ears and close my eyes.
Blake hugs me.
Another loud noise.
And then. Nothing more.

I get away from Blake and run out of the room.
I want to go to my parents, what happened to them?
A little later I have an answer.
Lifeless, they lie on the ground.

Tears roll down my cheeks. Sobbing, I kneel beside them and look into their cold eyes.
Suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder. I've expected to see Blake standing there.
But it's not him, it's Captain America.
I stare at him incredulously. He kneels next to me and looks at me sympathetically.
I start to cry again and can't help but to hug him.

When I finally stop crying and let go of him, he gets up and tells me to follow him.
We leave the house.
Outside Blake's standing with, who wouldn't have thought, Tony Stark in his Iron Man suit. They're talking.
Blake has been a fan of the Avengers for a long time. Me too, but not as much as he is.
Now Cap is with them. Unfortunately, I can't understand what they are talking about.
After they have finished their conversation, Blake walks over to me,
"Come on, Amanda", he says relieved.
"Where do we go?", I ask.
"To Grandma", he says, taking my hand.
Blake has always been there for me, he's just five years older than me. I could always talk to him about everything. That's why we always were so close.

We follow the others to a Quin-Jat.
The flight doesn't take long.
Grandma is already outside. I haven't seen her for a while. I run into her arms and hold her tight. Cap and Tony are already gone. We go inside.

~ Flashback end ~

My last option is the cliff. I have a big protrusion and stay there.
Should I jump or not?
If I jump, I'm probably dead. But if I don't jump and they get me, I'm definitely dead.
So I choose the former.

It feels like I'm falling for an eternity.

The impact on the water is painful. I try to swim up, but suddenly everything turns black.
