Saturday, 7.20pm. A few weeks later.
I finally managed to control my powers.
The training went pretty well, Steve said. But I knew that I would never be as good as they are. Once I was allowed to fight Scott and I beated him. He had claimed that his age was responsible, which I just laughed at.
Natasha had promised that I would finally be back in New York after completing the training.
And today the time has come!

I hastily pack my bag, which mainly contains sportswear, and leave my quarters in super-speed. To my bad luck, I almost walk into Clint, who had just talked to Natasha.
"Not so fast, Speedy, there is still enough time", he says with a laugh.
Did he just say Speedy?
I have never heard such a stupid nickname. Nevertheless, I stay calm and smile played.

Natasha seems to see how much I miss my home. She looks at Clint, he nods.
"Okay, then let's go," he says, sounding very tired. I start to smile and go outside with them.

As I'm about to enter the jet, I hear someone calling.
"Do you not want to say goodbye?", Steve shouts. I have to smile again and hug him. For the past few weeks he was like a brother to me.
"See you, little one", he says softly. When he says that, it sounds as if I said goodbye to my brother, which makes me sad again.

I didn't like it when Tony called me kid. For me it always sounded like I was just a stupid kid and that made me angry. He certainly didn't mean it that way, but that's how it came to me.

"Thanks, Steve", I say smiling and let go of him. He puts a kind of mobile phone in my hand.
"If you need help, get in touch", he says, and I nod in silence,
"Thank you".
Then I go in the jet. I said goodbye to the others yesterday, but not to Steve because he wasn't here.

After less than three quarters of an hour we are already in New York.
When I enter the apartment, Grandma comes to meet me and hugs me.
"And how was it?", She asks me. I look at her confusedly,
"How was what?".
"Well, the camp", she says. She had been told that I had visited a camp in recent weeks.
Well, now I have to put that into my story, which I have to tell Peter.
"It was fantastic!", I say smiling.
She believes it.
"By the way, Peter and Ned have been here several times and asked for you," she says and goes to the kitchen.
"Oh really, I'll go to meet them soon", I say and go to my room.
"I'll get you to dinner then", she calls after me.
I lay onto my bed and write a message to Peter.
Luckily, he answers immediately.

I think about it for a moment and send him: "Sure, I'll be right there"

I think about it for a moment and send him: "Sure, I'll be right there"

I jump off and go to the kitchen.
"Grandma, Peter asked if I could come over, May ordered pizza, could I go?", I ask, using my secret weapon, the puppy eyes.
"It's pretty late", she says.
"It's only quarter past eight, pleaseeee!", I say.
"Okay, but don't stay too long", she says.
"And please never use the puppy eyes in the future again, that's pretty unfair".
"Ok, thanks Grandma", I say, grabbing my jacket.
Since a few minutes have passed, I run in high speed.
Unfortunately, that doesn't spare me from the rain.
Peter opens the door for me and sees me standing in the rain,
"Come in quickly, not that you get sick again"' he says.
Totally soaked, I enter.
He disappears in his room and comes back with a thick sweater, sweatpants and a pair of socks.
"Here, put on something else first", he says and goes into the living room. I quickly change my clothes in the bathroom, the sweater is a bit too big for me.
I tie the wet hair to a messy bun and then go to the others who are watching a movie.
When I was in the bathroom, the pizza was already delivered.
Ned has already eaten his second piece.
I sit down calmly. Peter looks at me and hands me a piece if Pizza. Hesitating, I take it and watch the movie with them.

After the movie is over and the Pizza is eaten, I say goodbye to them.
"I'll come to you tomorrow, because of the homework in Spanish, we have to write an essay for Monday", he says as we stand at the front door.
"Okay, see you tomorrow," I say, heading home.
I walk home quickly.

Grandma is still awake.
"This time you're on time", she says smiling and reminds me when I came too late, as I played video games with Peter and forgot about the time. That was two years ago.

"I promise I'll never be late again", I say, hugging her. With that fast speed, that will never happen again anyway.
I wish Grandma a good night and then go to bed.
