Back on the treadmill, I've left my best time long behind me.
I wonder what happens when I get even faster.

Only Tony and Blake are here. Where is Peter?
Surely he is back in Queens.

In the corner of my eye, I see Tony talking to him.
What are the two talking about?

Now I slow down and finally stop. They look at me for a moment, then they talk on.

I get off the track and go to them. Tony clears his throat and ends the conversation.
"The training is over for today" he says and goes out.
What kind of training was that?
I just walked.

Oh whatever.
I pass Blake, out into the hallway. I'm on my way to the kitchen. But I notice that he follows me.
"What do you want Blake?", I ask annoyed and go on.

"I'm sorry about what I did to you", he says quietly, loud enough for me to hear him.
"I don't really want to talk about it now", I say while entering the kitchen.

It somehow hurts me to be like that to him. He's still important to me.
"Please let's talk about it later", I say, seeing a spark of hope in his eyes.
He is somehow still that Blake, I grew up with.

I start to smile easily.
"By the way, I still have something here", he says and hands me a packet. There is a strange substance in it, or something.
"What's that?" I ask, confused.
"A kind of mask, it will disguise your identity, so you do not have to stay in that light", he smiles.
"Thank you, Blake", I say, accepting it happily.

Arrived in my room, I put it on immediately and run with my fingers across that mask. That must be the trigger, because my face has changed in seconds. I stop glowing but my iris doesn't, my eyes are brightly bluish.

Impressed, I observe the stranger in the mirror. Peter will certainly not recognize me with the mask if he is still here.
Just now do I realize that it is already dark outside.
I take the mask off again and go to bed. I'm looking forward to Tony's reaction tomorrow.
Smiling at this thought, I fall asleep quickly.
