In the middle of the night
in New York City
I'm sitting on a roof, looking at the surrounding streets and thinking. Today was pretty exhausting. The constant talk about our new teacher didn't make it any better. When they talked about how sweet he was, I just rolled my eyes.
But no matter now.
Otherwise nothing has changed, that's just fine.
Again in the present time.
Only a few cars are on the road tonight.
There are currently no burglaries or raids.
Somehow calming.
After all that happened, it's nice to have a little rest.
Too soon. Just in that moment a kind of flash can be seen on the other side of the city.
Here we go.
Smiling, I'm on my way.
